A big thank you to and for everyone at ARH Essendon. I lost my cat Charlie 2 weeks ago. They were honest, yet caring and I'm so Thankful Charlie's last moments were with myself and the lovely team at ARH.

I feel obliged to leave a review after the excellent service received from the people at the hospital.These people are under the pump all the time and it was amazing seeing them with a kind positive and professional attitude all the time even though it was very late at night.Beside the bad experience of having my cat sick, I am glad I found the Animal Referral Hospital and I'm thankful for the effort everyone made to make me feel reassured that they were doing their best for Marcello, my cat.THANK YOU!!

Rang through for an emergency and was able to bring my dog in, informed them that he has issues with strangers, staff (friendly and so professional) had the room ready so we could avoid being around strangers which made us so happy as there was less stress for my dog. Dr Rachel was amazing, she waited patiently asking questions until my dog got comfortable enough to be checked. She (and everyone else there) were simply amazing

I am rating ARH five star only because of the outstanding care and experience I received from the clinicians and nursing staff. In particular Dr Jesse, Dr Charlie and Dr Rachel are true professionals and I am forever grateful to the team for giving Benny more time and a better quality of life.It is unfortunate however that the reception/administration team are not of the same calibre, and the experience and interactions was somewhat below standard. This team is the front and first line of contact for patients family, and I did not feel welcome, and found the team to be rude and cold, and that I was encroaching on their space and time.Benny was my main priority, and the skilled medical team more than made up for the sub standard administrative service I encountered.

We had a referral sent in from our local Vet to take our cat, Leo Rahman to this centre after receiving confronting blood test results that were taken at the local vet beforehand.I would like to thank the reception staff for being accommodating on the first day when we arrived at the centre.I would also like to thank Doctor Clifford Ho Le for being professional, optimistic, realistic and showing patience and understanding whilst my children were distraught by the event of my cat deteriorating. He was very honest about the potentiality for the costs involved and always gained consent whilst providing thorough, informed information to me about Leo. Doctor Clifford always rang throughout the days to update me on my cat's progress and made me feel that Leo was in safe, confident hands.

Staff acted quickly and efficiently to help my dog. It could have been an awful experience but the staff were great and reassured us. Everything was explained in detail and our dog is recovering well.I am very thankful for the wonderful staff.

The worst vet clinic ever!!!!!As soon as we entered we wereMet with a receptionist with a bad attitutude ( the lady with pink in her hair) just because I wasn't thinking properly and didn't ring ahead of time before going in as we were very distressed.)So we were treated like dirt.Spoken to rudely, no eye contact.I pretty much wanted to leave but didn't know where else to go.Vet was no good bit like a trainee. She couldn't see what was wrong with our dog and wanted to keep her in for the night at 1400 dollars.What a joke.Ended up taking my dog to an awesome vet the next day and she was diagnosed within an hour. Do not visit this place.

*PURE MONEY CARERS ONLY*( GET ANOTHER OPINION )they act as they care for your pet.Told me my dog needed surgery without taking any X-rays MRI etc they just performed basic triage which was only a quick feel of my dogs abdomen then tried convincing me to pay $7000 dollarsI refused to contract with them then next was we will kept him over night for $1200. I refused I took him to my vet the next morning $1000 later no surgery needed couple X-rays and a normal procedure and he is home now with some fluids all is well.

Absolutely amazing veterinary hospital and specialists. Simon is an excellent and caring surgeon who operated on two of our dogs over the years both with good outcomes - no doubt due to his expertise. ICU team wonderful and sent through photos of our dog during his ICU stay when there were no visitors allowed during COVID - really reassured us in an extremely difficult time.
