Stonewell Cottages & Vineyards

We recently stayed at Stonewells Cupids Cottage. Would highly recomend this little piece of paradise. Everything has been thought of to ensure an absolutely wonderful stay. Thankyou to Tina and Evan for providing a magical place to unwind.

Best accomodation I’ve ever stayed. Loved the experience- the hosts were amazing communicators although we needed nothing throughout our time because everything was so well-provided for! I would recommend to absolutely anyone- such a unique and wonderful experience!!

Hubby and I had a wonderful 3 nights stay at the cottage on the lake. It is such a magnificent quiet location, surrounded by vines and this exquisite lake with ducks, bird life and even a couple of rowing boats… yet easy access to the most fabulous Barossa wineries. The hosts of the cottage had thought of every comfort, and provided lovely, generous breakfasts and snacks. The food nearby in the Barossa was outstanding. We had a really great time. We are coming back for longer next time!

If I could rate staying at the Stonewell Cottages and Vineyards a 10, I would. The cottage that we stayed at was perfect; the location was perfect; and the hospitality given by Tina and Evan were outstanding. The cottage was warmly and tastefully appointed and the details were impeccable. Nothing was missed inside or outside the cottage. I felt more like I was staying with old friends than the typical B&B. Tina and Evan introduced us to local winemakers in the Barossa Valley allowing us to immerse ourselves in the local Barossa culture.As an example of how they treated us. The first day we got a flat tire in our rental vehicle. My wife happened to mention this to Tina while we were waiting for RAA to come. Next thing you know it, Evan drove up, picked up our tire and brought it to a local tire shop so we didn't have to worry about where to bring it.If you really want to know about the Barossa Valley and it's culture stay at least a week. Tina and Evan will take very good care of you.

What an amazing place to stay! There is nothing that Tina & Evan haven't thought of in terms of guest comfort at Stonewell Cottages. The breakfast provisions were fantastic, fresh bread, bacon, eggs, milk. Even breakfast for the ducks! A gorgeous little cheese platter, wine and the port was delicious as well :) All local produce which is a really nice touch.Very well appointed cottages, we felt relaxed as soon as we walked though the door. The folder in the cottage had so much information from local information to the history of how Stonewell Cottages came about. Everything has been very well thought out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we'll be back for sure :)

My partner and I booked a package for the start of school holidays. By the time we had driven over from Victoria, we were famished and in need of rest.I could not believe how beautiful Stonewell Cottages were. We drove in past the vineyard to find our cottage opposite the small lake, with ample parking.The self check in was preferred after sitting in a car with each other for a few hours, and we loved walking into to see a fireplace welcoming us.With our package we got a beautiful basket of produce. There was port ready for us to drink and local baked goods to comfort us (a thoughtful touch).If you're someone who appreciates the small things, this is the place for you. I almost wept at the sight of a locally made bath bomb and candles near the spa bath.All produce was local. There were numbers for local cabs left as well as an introduction to the property.We will definitely be back. Thank you so, so much.

Awesome people to deal with and a beautiful estate. I felt like the cottage that I got was almost too luxurious in that I only managed to get a chance to enjoy about a quarter of the luxury available. The highlight for me was the breakfast part, amazing produce, it was almost like going on holiday within the holiday. Don't get me started on the wines...

My husband and I stayed at the Hideaway Cottage for 4 nights on our first trip to the Barossa Valley. And we are so glad we did! What a wonderful cottage to call home while you explore the region. Nothing is far away but the location is so peaceful and beautiful. And the provisions were beyond all expectations! After one night, my husband said We have to make this an annual retreat". I certainly hope we can. I left some things behind and Tina was very quick to contact me and ensure they were returned."

Very relaxing and lovely place to stay. The vineyards and lake setting are so picturesque and peaceful. Tina was so welcoming and her recommendations on what to do in the area were fantastic. Would love to come back.
