Wow, what beautiful modern Dug Outs, from floating floors, modern kitchen and bathrooms, lovely hand crafted woodwork, and furniture, all finished to meticulous detail. This is experiencing staying underground and living with all the mod-cons of the 21st century and a view to match. Exceptional!!

Treat yourself to a unique experience. There are lots of things to see and do on a road trip through Central Australia and a stop at Coober Pedy is something that most people include in their journey plans. And for good reason, it's a fascinating place with a rich history set in an unforgettable landscape. But for us the most rewarding part of our visit was the opportunity to stay underground in an extremely well appointed apartment and to spend some time with our hosts.Mick and Irene. They have great stories to tell. Living and working in remote parts of Australia has given them the knowledge skills to create these fabulous apartments and an outlook on life that is inspiring.

Dug out B& B is definitely the most luxurious underground accommodation in CooberPedy. We absolutely loved it! It was amazing to stay in this place knowing that it was designed, excavated and styled by two amazing people Mick and Irene who also provided us with information on local tourist attractions and all we needed to know to make our stay there exciting.Everything in there is up to the highest standard and I recommend it to anybody who is planning to visit Coober Pedy.Mick and Irene thank you for being a great hosts and for making our stay at your beautiful dug out so wonderful. I will never forget the view from the kitchen window or the night sky filled with stars.

What an amazing experience! Bit claustrophobic the 1st night but settled in well. So quiet, great facilities and unbeatable views. Hosts were lovely too.

Fantastic - the dugout rooms are beautiful and wonderfully quiet. The beds are comfortable, and Mick and Irene are absolutely excellent hosts. The B&B looks out into the outback so it's perfect for star gazing, and if you get bored of that it's a great spot to sit around a fire. We really enjoyed our stay

Irene and Mick are the perfect hosts, full of information and handy tips on arrival. This property exceeded our expectations.. Yes a dugout experience but I am sure there is no other accommodation to this standard of pretty much luxury" in Coober Pedy and reasonably priced for fully self contained living with all the mod cons. Great views from the property and I think it is great that it is 4 klms from the main town being a little secluded."

Unique accommodation in the face of a hill. A stable 22 degrees no matter the temperature outside. Gorgeous views. The only downside is the lack of wifi.

We were lucky enough to get the three bedroom apartment, and it was nothing short of Amazing, it was like living inside a piece of art..The beautiful walls sculptured the lovely timber finishes, the lighting to enhance and show off everything, the bathroom and ensuite, love, love, love..Just everything was gorgeous!And the view was also a photographers dream!The bedroom and bed was super comfy and loved the atmosphere, the amenities, were first class..The owners Michael and Irene were lovely hosts, so happy I found this little treasure....

Impossible not to give this fantastic accommodation anything less than 5 stars.Mick & Irene are fantastic warm and friendly hosts who ensure your stay in Coober Pedy is nothing but luxurious and unique.The Dug Out B&B was definitely a highlight of our across Australia adventures.Absolute perfection is the only way to describe this magical and magnificent accommodation! 5⭐

Ideal spot in CP: great view in a fastidiously kept dugout with shiny floors and furnishings. I wish our apartment in Adelaide were so roomy. Wonderful hosts, Irene and Mick, full of advice and local knowledge. Great value for the high quality and enormous space. I cannot imagine that there is any place better here (although this is only my first time here.)
