The staff are super helpful. We came in, told them what we were interested in, how long we were there and what type of car we had. They gave us resources and a plan for the holiday and it was fantastic.

The staff member at reception was very friendly and informative, and it was obvious that this was once a great facility. However, the centre is very run down at present. In particular, the lighting on the many excellent displays was not working, and had clearly not done so for a long time. I had to use the torch on my phone to read many of the information panels. With some much-needed maintenance, this place could be great.

Fast friendly service — we arrived 5 minutes before closing time and there was a lot of others travellers arriving too trying to buy park passes and book tours and accommodation. The customer service officer was inundated with requests for local knowledge. When she served us she welcomed us to Kakadu NP. And quickly verified our passes we bought online we’re valid. (We had no internet)The visitor centre has clean amenities too. Some Aboriginal artefacts adorn the centre.A welcomed place to refresh after our long drive from Mataranka. We then found more information at Kakadu lodge.

There's so much that could be explained about Kakadu but the small display here is underwhelming. If you've been to visitor centres at national parks in other parts of the world you'll be disappointed. Theatre was closed for maintenance, some of the displays worn or scruffy. No ranger talks or activities available during our visit despite the entry fee being significantly higher than other parks. No one at the info desk when we stopped by, but we did see a staff member nearby earlier so I'm sure we could have received help if we needed it.

Really enjoyed the experience. Took a long time to read the detailed information about the land, flora, fauna and how the Aboriginal peoples interact with it all. Extremely informative. Some of the exhibits were a little run down and in need of fixing the electrics especially. That would have made it 5 stars

Apart from the expense of a Kakadu parks pass ontop of the NT parks pass, attendant at the visitors centre was friendly but seemed unfamiliar with the park and road conditions.Cafe appears permanently closed but they have a display that you can walk through talking through the wildlife and other things found in the park.

Beautiful visitor centre. Good for a quick rest. The small museum/gallery is awesome and the information sets the scene for your trip. Highly recommend going here early on in your Kakadu adventure.

It's a lovely place for a refreshing stop en route to Kakadu National park. Here you can also purchase your entry passes on the counters for $40 per person (if you didn't already do so online). There's plenty of aboriginal work of arts to look at. The door handles carved out of tree branches (instead of the usual steel, crome etc) were amazing to look at!
