The professionalism and care of our animals at Welcome Boarding Kennels & Cattery was stellar. I loved being able to ring to hear how our animals were getting on. There were no ''tantrums'' from my fur babies once I got them home, which is always a great sign! Thanks so much, guys, we'll be back next time we're going on holidays.

Since when you differentiate on dog breed.My dog is an american bulldog cross american stuffy and he's the most placid dog ever, that gets bullied by little dogs. Because One dog from the same breed miss behaves consequence of how they get raised and trained then the whole breed pays the price, how sad, very disappointed

Our Labrador Iris loves going there. Goes there happy and happy and healthy when picked up.

Our cat was looked after very well. He is a timid one who needs a lot of pets and reassurance. My friend who visited him while we were away told us that his deluxe room was clean and he seemed happy. He came back home well, clean and healthy on our return. Welcome will be our go to place.

The staff are so friendly, the kennels are super clean and check in/out was a breeze (he even received a complimentary bath before I picked him up!) On recommendation from 3 people I boarded my Labrador at Welcome Kennels for 19 days. He was as excited as I when I picked him up but I quickly noticed there was something different about him. His head was a slightly different shape and his eyes were half closed and he couldn't be stimulated to open them normally.When home he slept most of that day and most of the next.I also noticed how prominent his ribs and spine were. He is a slim lab and my vet is happy with that. On the 8th December 2022 he weighed 28kg and when he got home from Welcome he weighed 21 kgs. He is feeding normally now (as he did prior to boarding at Welcome) and he is getting back to his energetic self and weight.How could my dog lose so much weight and be so lethargic. My dog loves his food so would have eaten anything given to him. This leads me to think he wasn't fed adequately. I doubt that he would allow the other dog sharing his kennel to eat his food - he would be in there straight away eating before another dog to eat it. Or did he have a stomach bug that caused him to lose all of this weight and to make him so lethargic?I also found the reception staff on drop off and pick up to be superficial in their conversation. No doubt doing their admin role efficiently but lacked warmth and a genuineness in their conversation

Excellent experience. Very prompt response. We trust them for long stays with our border collie. She always comes back happy and looking fresh. Pick up and drop off was always a breeze. Very friendly.
