Quality Hotel Bayside

Very pleasant stay. The rooms are a little tired but major redevelopment is under way. The view across the bay was stunning (especially the sunrise). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only a short walk into restaurants and shops along the foreshore.

I have stayed many times at Quality Hotel Bayside and have always found my stays amazing the state of the rooms are always impeccable and extremely clean. the check in process is always quick and seamless and I highly recommend staying here when you are in Geelong

I am a Paraplegic so its important to get a disabled room and the ones at Quality Hotels Bayside are very good. We also got the 2 bedroom bayside apartment which had beautiful views over looking the bay. Beautiful Sunrises and views at night as well when the ships go by. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great stay! My room was clean and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a short, budget stay.

The day before check-in I was sent a 'pre check in' e-mail, which asked me to sign ridiculously unacceptable terms (I had to sign up for their promotions with no opt-out option and vague conditions that would allow them to charge my credit card for unspecified expenses).No reasonable person would sign such nonsense, and I felt very uncomfortable about the possibility of staying there even if I didn't sign.However they sent that pre check in e-mail well after their cancellation period (24 hours) was over. I booked another hotel, but the Bayside refused to cancel.Be careful with what they ask you to sign, and better avoid this hotel altogether, there can be unexpected 'surprises'.Edit: a) the hotel lied in the response to this review that the agent didn't try to cancel. They absolutely did and I have received a complete e-mail trail from them, with the response from the hotel refusing to cancel; b) the terms and conditions I was given are not nearly the same as with other hotels. I am never asked for compulsory opt-ins to marketing communications and for open-ended permissions to charge my credit card.You are attermpting to make my review sound unreliable by simply lying about what happened and trying to make me look like a liar instead. Another level of despicable.

Second time I have stayed here and can't recommend highly enough. Rooms are very clean and well presented. Check-in is easy. Location is great.

I cannot thank the staff at this hotel enough - especially Tamara who went above and beyond to help me with my travel plans.The room was lovely, as was the view. I highly recommend this place as somewhere to stay.
