Globe Nails

Can’t speak on all the staff here as I have only come once, but one time is enough when it’s not a good experience. The lady who did my nails was extremely rude and tried to charge me $5 extra because I wanted to make the length shorter??

We were up there for holidays and thought will treat ourselves to a manicure and pedicure, was the closet place to where we were staying to thought will give globe nails a try.Where do I begin. I am left mortified, never in my life of 36yrs have a experienced such appalling service. We will begin with the quick job of pedicure and manicure, to the dealing with different clients in between the services, not putting any products in the spa, and giving me a dry cuticle cut, where I know your suppose to soak fingers prior to even cutting any cuticle.Long story short , the damage happened few days later when we came back from our holiday.One of my fingers became inflamed and throbbing, I had to go get antibiotics to treat the infection and it’s yet to even heal yet. I developed a felon infection deep into the tissues, so I’m assuming they don’t even sterilise their products. I am disgusted and I will be taking this up with fair trading, if I require surgery because of their incompetence service , I will be taking matter further. The ladies were so nice and accomodating, they did a beautiful job of my nails and my friends, ready for my wedding! Would highly recommend!

Got sns nails done and the were so neat and perfect. They did the best job. Lucky to have them locally. Would highly recommend.

My friend and I got SNS and shellec pedi done and it has lasted soo well and I'm absolutely amazed with the result. Can't be more pleased with the high quality service at this local nail salon. Soo lucky to have a great nail place at Caba.

I had a great experience with Globe Nails! They did such a professional job and I looove my nails. I left my AirPods there and the lovely ladies found them and held on to them for me for a few days until I could come and retrieve them❤️ So good to know that a great nail salon exists in the area, will definitely be coming back :)

I got an infill for my nails and paint was left on my hands and all around my nails, they didn’t bother to clean it up or nothing. It payed $45 for something i could have done better myself

I got acrylic nails done, however they do nice looking nails it’s always a bad experience, they over book which makes your appt longer. And the cut up the sides of my finger with the acrylic filing tool even after I mentioned to was hurting. My nails look nice but I wouldn’t recommend

I got acrylic nails done here and this wasn't the first time, in the past I have been and had similar issues but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Yesterday I asked if they had anytime and they told me to come back in half an hour which was no problem but I was unimpressed with how they shooed me away and then another women yelled at me to come back just to tell me I have to come back in half an hour and to put my number so I don't leave. There was still a great lack of any customer service skills beingshown but my main issue was my nails being left crooked uneven and JAGGED. worst of all (and this has happened everytime I have visited) I was left in a great deal of pain until the next day. The pain is caused when they file your natural nail too much leaving it weak and causing a pressure like pain!! to top it all off they charged my 20 dollars more then they initially said it would be, didn't bother arguing as I just wanted to get out of there!

Firstly, I rarely ever leave poor reviews but I consider this necessary.. if anything I hope the owner takes this as constructive criticism and provides much needed training for their staff before someone develops a nasty infection!I visited the salon yesterday to get dip nails done on my bare nails as I am having a break from acrylics. I was less than happy with the end result..-The colour I chose was a pale, pale pink that was almost white. What I received was a distinct pink colour that was far more pigmented than the swatch. (The jar had the same label as the swatch but perhaps lids have been swapped..).-I came in with very short nails as they are week and bending from years of over filing with acrylics. There was no need to file. The nail tech continued to try and file my natural nails even when I was pulling away in obvious pain and had politely said it was hurting. It wasn’t a quick file to tidy up the power, she was trying to reshape my nails that were already cut down to the nail bed.- I had a lot of product around my skin that wasn’t wiped away before “activating” the powder or curing under the lamp so this was another reason the nail tech was filing my nails as she was also filing my skin to remove the left over product!!! In the end she got her nail - which was filed to a point compared to her other round nails, which tells me this is a practice she doesn’t often- and she slid her nail underneath my nail from one side to the other. This was extremely painful, achieved nothing as the product was further down on my skin and she had actually caused a nail injury which I am watching closely for infection as it is red, throbbing and swollen. What she has done by using her nail filed into a point is separated my nail from the nail bed, which is a risky spot for infection but also causes a fair amount of pain with all activities I carry out and it is constantly aching which leads me to believe I have the start of an infection..To make matters worse i than noticed that the underneath of her nails were putrid, as if she had been gardening without gloves.. all underneath her nails was black dirt..I was the only one in salon and the service took almost 1 hour when I generally get an infill on long nails with gel polish in 30-45 minutes.Considering I paid $50 and got the wrong colour, an unpleasant and painful experienceand what appears to be a nail infection, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here and I would urge the manager to please provide their staff with correct training and procedures to avoid injury and infection with nail services.
