The woman who served me was absurdly rude wouldn’t give me my parcel even though I had my ID and my parcel slip. Also treated me like a 12 year old and told me that my parents would have to bring me my ID even though I had one and am of age to legally drive.

I came in today, while on a short break from my work. I was served by an older gentleman, who when I asked for my parcel, asked for ID. I had forgotten my licence, but had my name strapped to my neck on a lanyard for work and a credit card. I had to leave, and was happy to do so because I understand how this works. However when I returned with my licence i was a little rushed because I was running out of time on my break. Your 'service person' called me stroppy and rude, he then drew attention to the fact that my licence address did not match my delivery address and gave me a very hard time over it. Finally he let me sign for my package, so I did not answer him, but ya know what, I'll just answer him here. The reason my drivers licence does not match the delivery address (which it doesn't need to) is because my home at the address on my licence was destroyed in the floods. And I can't very well send things to my home that currently has no walls, can I? So thanks for that reminder mate. Also to australia post. If this is how your 'service people' work get some better training under your belt.

Useless customer service, and if you have any sort of application form that needs photo ID prepare yourself for the confusion of the elderly staff. A passport is a Primary/commencement and Medicare card is secondary which more than substantial...not very qualified to do the job.

So, now they're closed on weekends huh? What a surprise that their absolutely horrendous service is now worse. To add onto it, Australia Post is a Federal Postal Service as they post not just state wide, but country wide, which by Federal Law, states they are required to be open 7 days a week.I also constantly end up having the docket that states I missed my package, but at that - the day I received the docket, I was awake and at home and I saw the delivery driver leave my house without ringing the doorbell, or giving any notion that they were there. It is also illegal for delivery drivers to do actions like this as by law, it falls under Petty Theft which for those who are unaware, is a Misdemeanour under the Regulatory Offenses Act 1985 - which can lead to a $5,500 fine and/or 12 months imprisonment. Get your act together.

I have ordered 2 items, one locally from Aus, and one from NZ. I have been kept up to date meticulously with their tracking, up until they hit your branch. Apparently one of my items have been in transit to Thuringowa since 8pm on TUESDAY (coming from brisbane). So either the driver got hopelessly lost, or you just have no sense of urgency.

Is this the worst Post Office in Queensland? It definitely is the worst in Townsville and is on track to meet the goal above.Incredibly rude staff, who really want to be somewhere else, very limited opening hours, hidden entrance for parcel collections and staff who scowl if you don't know it, and the ability to not leave your parcel at home but have it brought to the office for no good reason at all.Do yourself a massive favour and go elsewhere. This place is so bad, it just needs to wither and die.

I was hit by a van on sunday. Am unable to walk. Sent my housemate with the blue ticket to collect my parcel and they gave him the wrong parcel. When the parcel was returned to get the correct one they refused to give it up without the blue ticket they had taken. They then proceeded to tell them I would have to go up and collect the parcel. It was explained that I couldn't walk or get out of bed and the rude old lady said, well that's a shame."I would give them a zero if I could."
