Cattle Camp Motel

I phoned ahead to book in as I was arriving late. The transaction was great and the lady was very helpful. Had a comfortable night with a good sleepin after a couple of long days driving.The rooms are great, clean and have a nice outlook. My only regret was not having time to sit on the balcony having a beer! The restaurant and bar area look great ( closed due to my late arrival) so I will have to come back to experience those areas.Put it on your list of great places to stop.

Room was big with three single beds and a queen, beds and bedding were high quality, which allowed a good rest before the trip continued.Showers were very good and were a blessing from above after a few days on the road, and the bathroom itself was quite large.Our room had both a front and rear verandah - if only we weren't so exhausted!Additionally, staff were quite friendly and very accomadating of our late check in, which was nice of them.Price was reasonable for what the room actually ended up being. Parking was available in either the front or rear, though we just parked out front.Don't be intimidated by some of older reviews, the (newer) management have clearly worked hard to make it a nice place to stay in the middle of inland Queensland!

Clean, tidy abd very comfortable . Great staff. Easy parking..Best of all fabulous shower. Certainly on our future stopover list for this regular trip. Thanks for the referral to the Leichhardt Hotel for dinner

Very nice staff and very nice rooms. The room is very spacious and very clean. The toilet and shower room is very large for a motel unit as well as being modern and bright. A nice small area on the verandah to sit and relax and watch the world pass by. The bed was good and all the usual extras ( microwave, kettle, fridge etc) were pretty new and very clean.

Lovely country motel with helpful friendly staff. The room has everything you need. Kudos to the cleaners! The air con is nice and cold! There is a pool, and the gardens are very nice to spend time in,.

No breakfast available there or in neighbourhood. And after 19.00 no restaurant open in Taroom. Our room was nice but shower window is without curtains so nice vieuw" from outside"

Lovely clean comfortable rooms with everything you need. Kudos to the cleaners! The manager is the most helpful friendly lady! Thabk you so much! I feel at home here . I highly recommend people stay here !

Horrible room.The bathroom looks straight from the 1930s.Leaking toilet,mouldyThe bed is only usable if you're 5ft 5,otherwise your legs will hang over the end.Very run down and way overpriced,at best a $60 room.If you have an option, bypass the town,its a dump too.I was far too tired to keep driving so had to stop,but I will never come to this town again..

Booked in overnight on our way through to Victoria. great little motel. clean and tidy. do not have to travel away from the main road so in very convenient. i had booked prior but there was slIght mix-up with the booking, but all was sorted. There are not many places to stay in Taroom. some of the motels out this way seem to be quite expensive as well. this one was a bit overpriced.
