Post and Telegraph Boutique Bed and Breakfast
Staying at the Post & Telegraph in Moruya is a wonderful experience. It is easy to find, parking is no problem and it is an easy walk to local restaurants, cafes, shops and other amenities. The historic, character building has been tastefully and thoughtfully renovated. The original hardwood floors are marvellous, and the decor is just perfect for the building. The wooden staircase leading to the guest suites is fantastic! The guest suites are well appointed and very comfortable. The catering is superb!!! The owners and hosts, Suellen and Michael, are delightful. They have a lovely manner, great taste and create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend staying at the Post & Telegraph.

Post and Telegraph Boutique Bed and Breakfast
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here for a night during a trip we were taking to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I booked some very nice and at times very expensive places to stay on our trip but the Post and Telegraph was by far the best. Michael and Sue were so lovely and welcoming, the attention to detail everywhere you looked, the fabulous styling and the little extras just showed how much care they have taken. Bed was so comfortable and breakfast the next morning was wonderful. Perfect place for couples looking to get away. Thank you, Jake and Kate

Mick and Sue made us feel so comfortable, their attention to detail is second to none! If I could give more stars I would. I loved this place so much. It was welcoming. It was restful. It was luxuriant. Michael and Sue were warm and thoughtful - nothing was too much trouble. It was my birthday and they left a beautiful gift for me. They cooked me a breakfast that could compete with (and beat) any cafe in town. There were beautiful books everywhere to relax - a hot deep bath with luxuriant bath products, comfy chairs on a shady deck, sunny garden crannys, a library full of books. It was just a gentle stroll to the picturesque river and town. So many thoughtful touches made my stay seem a luxurious treat. Thankyou Michael and Sue - I’ll definitely be back!

More like a 5 Star boutique with the most wonderful hosts. Sue and Michael went out of their way to make sure we were well looked after during our 4 nights’ stay without being intrusive (but we wouldn’t have minded more interaction as they are so interesting). Sue has the most amazing taste in her interior decorating and pays attention to all the little details such as the luxurious linen on the comfortable bed, the little bathroom luxuries and we always looked forward to our chocolates every night. Not forgetting to mention Michael’s breakfast freshly made was such a delight. One of our favourite time was sitting out on the balcony with a little sherry watching the sun set. Highly recommend staying there.

We have just experienced the most wonderful stay at the Post and Telegraph in Moruya, we were overwhelmed by the warmth and hospitality shown to us by our hosts Mick and Sue, set in the beautiful grand old historic building surrounded by the picturesque cottage garden. Our room was generously proportioned with high quality accessories and fittings throughout. It was hard not to feel like you had just landed in the house of luxury. Maybe it was the linen bed covers, or the freshly baked banana cake wafting through our communal sitting room, or the beautiful bathing products that lined our ensuite. Either way we had arrived in the house of lux.Mick and Sue were kind and attentive, willing to answer all our questions of the surrounding region whilst also respecting our privacy as we relaxed and unwound. The breakfasts were delicious, brimming with local produce and homecooked delights- simple elegance at its best.Although, by far my favourite pastime was sitting on the top verandah overlooking the world pass us by, as I gently sipped on the golden muscat from my crystal clipper glass. Three words to describe my stay LUX, LUX, LUX – and of course, we will be back! Thanks Mick and Sue for a memorable stay.

Wonderful b&b! It was more than just accommodation, it was an experience to stay at the Post & Telegraph. It was so relaxing, one night felt like a long weekend. Michael and Sue have done an amazing job honouring the history of the building while bringing it up to luxury standards. The breakfast was delicious and we were sad to leave. Will definitely be back.

We recently stayed at this delightful property for the second time. We enjoyed it so much the first time that we went back with two other couples! Hosts Michael and SueEllen are welcoming, charming and interesting but never intrusive. The Post & Telegraph has a wonderful history, delightful decor (not a doily to be seen), super comfortable beds and feels like a small private hotel. The guests sitting room, balcony and garden with chiminea (Michael not only lit it for us but also produced mulled wine) are all lovely. Six stars We will be back!
