Great local pub! Had the Sunday roast which was a gorgeously slow cooked pepper crusted brisket with kipfler potatoes and fennel. Very tasty and perfect portion for lunch. Nice wine selection and well priced menu. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We were looked after well and will definitely keep coming back!

Excellent food with old world charm. Really happy to see some great vegetarian and pescatarian options along with the pub classics. Reasonably priced, excellent flavours, and solid portion sizes.Not much has been done to update the place but it’s got character in its own way. Very happy to see this local back open.

Thursday Steak Night compelled us to visit this pub. All their tables were booked for the time we attended, however we managed to grab a vacant table upon walking-in. We both ordered the $24 steak meal, which came with a good portion of steak, chips and a small salad (a few leaves). The portion and taste of the meal were decent for the price paid. We requested for it to be cooked medium-rare, however the steak was relatively rare. Can’t complain though because it was quite tasty and priced well. Unfortunately, the environment was uncomfortably loud and drove us out of the pub as soon as we finished our meal.

Really popular local tavern inside the 150 year old Art Deco Orrong Hotel which was lovingly restored in 2021.They have a hearty classic pub style menu with a wine bar type flare and a cosy vibe. Great for families but also some quieter areas where you can go for a date night. We had some starters and the Steak special. The pie looks so good and they have vegetarian options. Highly recommend the chocolate pudding for dessert - it was SO good I had to order a second one!The restaurant was packed by 7pm so we recommend you book. They have weekly meat raffles, express lunches, week night specials, steak nights, Sunday roasts and kids eat free 4-6pm Mon-Wed.Only thing was that if you're sitting near the kitchen door it's a bit of a wind tunnel so dress warm.

This may be the most unassuming pub in all of Melbourne. It’s got an amazing art deco building and seems “ dad pub” from exterior and when you pass looks like no one is inside but nope it’s vibrant as. It’s such a good pub and the food is incredible Plus dogs allowed in the front bar. Honestly it’s representing best pub on south by a mile. Highly recommended Bonus : get to spot super boujee Toorak / Armadale moms cruising the spot . Highly entertaining.

Food was excellent here. From the steak to the garlic bread, lamb shoulder to pork ribbets. Tasty, well seasoned, generous and served in a timely manner.If we had been given a little more attention we most probably would have ordered another 2 rounds of drinks but there was only 2 staff on the floor I could see at any one time.Highly recommended, I would pick this over other neighbouring pubs for the food.
