Byron Bay Rainforest Resort

A magical little retreat, we were blown away. The heated saltwater pool and spa were exceptional and the sunlit cabins were perfect. My nature-loving mum was in her element. A few creepy crawlies in the room but that was to be expected. The kitchen facilities were fantastic, and Philip was so welcoming - he even gave us a hand with our bags! We will definitely be back.

It's my favourite place to get away. Private cabins with a lovely view of the forest.Cabin has ensuite. The kitchenette has hotplate, microwave and fridge. A full-size oven is located in the multi-purpose community building if needed.Short walk to beach and only 4kms from the cbd. A Cafe is located next door.Pet friendly too.

Amazing little gem! Found this cabin very last minute for my daughter travelling on a long trip and needed a stop over. With two small kids and two little dogs in tow this place was a rare find. Phil the manager waited up late for her to arrive, stocked the fridge with extras and really went above and beyond. Room was great - service amazing. Will definitely be making a visit myself next time I’m going through Byron Bay. Thanks Phil!!!

I would recommend the Rainforest resort at Byron very highly for anyone travelling Who enjoys the following, as we have::Nature with , a relaxed atmosphere, comfortable beds, self contained privacy, , walking distance to beautiful scenery that is dog friendly.The resort is quaintly retro, so I would not suggest it is 5 star, but we extended our stay from 1 night to two, and two to three as we settled in to this eco space with screened in patio directly into the rainforest, and refreshing pool outside our cabin in total, simplicity and comfort.Our dog was welcome and comfortable inside and out on the verandah. We delighted in the walks on the 1.5km dog beach just a pleasant walk along the path in the wetlandsA few minute drive to the beautiful wattego’s and Byron if you want, although we were pretty happy to just drop in there and return to the quiet of our little retreat with beach and wetlands nearby.The cabins are comfortable with great cross ventilation and fans which for us meant we were able to enjoy fresh sea breezes refresh our space during the heat, knowing we had air con if we needed it.The beds are comfy and sheets are good.Kitchens in the room are basic and fine and the camp kitchen with pool table and table tennis table would be absolutely amazing fun for family groups.

I actually have never been here but they were very helpful when our friends dog got lost!!

Rainforest Resort in Byron Bay ticked all the boxes. It is pet friendly, the cabins are few and they are delightfully hidden amongst the trees. Each cabin has a screened verandah to keep the bugs and birds out, while you enjoy the feeling of being amongst the natural setting on offer. The pool caters for everyone with a gentle sloping ramp to assist with getting in and out. There is a cabana for shared cooking and games. You can be as social as you like or as quiet as you wish. Barbara was running the resort during my visit and her outgoing nature and sense of humour was such a bonus.This is a place I will visit again in a heartbeat. I loved everything about it.

Pet friendly, people friendly rainforest retreat, it has a small pool that tastefully blends into the surrounds. The cabins have a huge patio and are very private, and nice touches with kitchen comestibles, best of all, pet friendly. Thanks so much for a great stay.

Gorgeous setting. Cute, simple cabins. Close to Byron. We've stayed twice now as we really like it. The second time we stayed our cabin had air-con and a king size bed. So awesome that pets are welcome. Lovely staff. Will definitely be back :)
