Roadcraft Driver Education

My daughter and her cousin just completed the 2 day learner course. They said all of the trainers were extremely knowledgeable and made it fun. I completed the course myself at their age but that was 27 years ago. It was reassuring that they also loved it! The difference one extra second of stopping distance and 5kms over the speed limit makes to their driving definitely resonated with my daughter. She will go for her driving test in about 2 weeks and the instructors feedback has not only improved her driving skills but also given her confidence a little boost. I will continue to highly recommend this course for every learner driver and look forward to bringing my son in 12 months. Thanks to the entire team!

Awesome course! Enrolled with my partner who had no caravan towing experience (and some reluctance). The program was personal, tailored and a great blend on theoretical and practical. All new caravanners should undertake the course, you won't regret the decision. We both feel much better equipped to tow our van across Australia and have a much better understanding of how our vehicle and van with perform under unexpected circumstances.

My wife and I recently did the 2 day caravan towing course, our instructor was Paul. The course was fantastic, great theory tuition and excellent practical training on the purpose built driver training track. Paul’s knowledge and patience during the 2 days made the whole course a successful experience for us both. I would thoroughly recommend this course to everyone towing a caravan whether you are experienced or a newbie. In fact this type of training should be mandatory for all caravaners.

An excellent 2 day 4wd training course. Trainer personalised the course to suit our vehicle and the type of terrain that we intend to use it for. Relaxed, in-vehicle coaching and encouragement from Glen left us feeling fully aware of our vehicle's capabilities and gave us the confidence to tackle things we wouldn't have attempted befores. Safety and recovery training has also added to our confidence.

Did a 2 day student driver awareness course. It was awesome and I honestly I think this should be compulsory for new drivers before hitting the road. A lot of really valuable information, learnt a lot.

We completed the 2 day Safe Towing course. Absolutely brilliant! Through no fault of Roadcraft we had to leave the course on the first day and they contacted us to arrange a later date to complete the course at no additional cost to us.Anyone towing something heavy for the first time should complete this course. Professional instructors, relevant course content and a good mix of theory and practical training. The marriage saving reversing component was priceless.Thank you Roadcraft

My husband just completed a 5 day intensive training program as part of his QAS training. The instructors are incredible and really take the time to ensure you get the most out of your course. He cannot commend them highly enough for the effort they put into every student. These guys and girls teach Paramedics how to drive so you know they are the best of the best. Thanks Roadcraft!!

We completed the two day towing course which includes both theory and practical exercises. As a towing novice, I now have the awareness of safe towing, of tools and processes I can use that give me the highest probability of keeping myself and others safe. This course gives you far more than the confidence to reverse and manoeuvre - for me, it was improving my entire driving skills. The instructor Rick was completely supportive. I will be purchasing a driving course for both my adult children. Thanks for what you do.

The 2 day Safe Tow Course run by Roadcraft is something EVERY caravanner should do!The techniques you learn, as well as understanding the potential performance of your rig, instills a confidence that only practice can improve, and you will find you can't wait to get out there and practice more!What had started as a bit of a daunting experience when we realized just how big and heavy the van we'd ordered was actually going to be, has now become quite exciting.We both take turns driving and feel confident with each other's abilities having both passed all the tests. This is also an important thing to do if you ever plan on travelling remotely - if something was to happen healthwise to the usual driver, the other needs to be able to take over whether it's to get to help, or meet the partner after the RFDS took them elsewhere, and you don't want the first time you handle the rig to be under such duress, it needs to be virtually second nature.This is also a govt accredited course, so if they do end up bringing in new licencing rules, we've already got it covered and receive a certificate to that effect.Cannot recommend highly enough.Not only could it mean a lot less caravan accidents, but a lot less nerves for people trying to park them!I repeat, just do it. Think of the cost as being less than your excess if something does go wrong, and having done this, that chance is reduced.

All instructors are professional and take pride in what they do at Roadcraft, they also do attempt and succeed to bring some fun into what is a serious learning experience for drivers. Ben, Ray, Paul and Jeff were all respectful and taught new driving skills to the young drivers on the 2 day course.Have just completed the 2 day provisional course, Jeff and Jordan were very good and the personal info on your car you learn is worth it. Would recommend to anyone. Also you are not a good driver.
