Cheap and cheerful venue on level one. Staff were lovely and made sure we were warm. Ordered an entree, mains X3 and all the food was delicious and great value

I have discovered a a little Thai restaurant gem. The menu is a mix of traditional meets locale, with plentyIf iconic Thai dishes and a splash of Malee difference, I expect from the chefs wanting to cook with their own interpretation and quality. The wines match really well and are priced as great value. The ambience upstairs on this warm night was delightful. Highly recommend this authentic experience.

This used to be good but I won’t come back.It seems they use the same pretty bland base for most of their curries. We ordered 2 curries and they tasted exactly the same. Got my order wrong and took a long time to get replaced. The chicken with cashew nuts someone at our table had had a very unusual flavor, and completely unbalanced. Tasted like soy + fish sauce. It arrived cold, and the meat was dry and chewy.Spent $150 between 3 people.

Got take away, noodles and curry were mild and bland - roti seemed undercooked. I also observed staff being fairly rude to delivery service drivers. Would not return.

Although the meal is delicious, the customer service could be better because we had to wait 40 minutes for it, and they are not at all friendly. Overall, I believe the restaurant has poor management.

Great value meals. Friendly staff made sure we were warm in winter. Had 3 mains meals, an entree and drinks. Would come back for lovely Thai food.

The Dining area needs a makeover, very tired.The waiter was pleasant .The manager seemed to grit her teeth when smiling , a bit awkward feeling.She didn’t seem at all interested in her patrons .The toilets were locked .. I guess you need to ask for a key .The atmosphere is non existent .The prawns were excellent.The Garlic Pepper stir fry was awash with oil and salt .I really hope they can pick up the ball here but we won’t be back until it’s sorted .

Great atmosphere. Good customer service. Pad See Ew was flavoursome but slightly sweetish. Tom Yum soup was good but a little sour. Chilli and Basil Fried Rice was average- the rice was clumpy. Overall, it was a good dining experience and would be back to try other dishes.

Main attraction of Malee Thai is the al fresco dining on the balcony overlooking Highton Village. They do however need to give the wrought iron balustrades a sweep to get of the spider webs that were next to our table. Entree was an enjoyable roti, mains were beef with flat noodles & chicken green curry, both pretty good. They had however run out of a few things (sticky rice), but a generally good experience. Just give the spider webs a good sweeping.
