Driftwood Restaurant
A fantastic restaurant in a charming spot next to the canal. I had the pan seared duck breast fillet which was delightful. Very flavorsome and the searing gave it a nice texture.The meal gave me a high enough opinion on the restaurant that I didn't want to leave without also trying a dessert. I had the chocolate fondue pudding, the highlight of which was the caramelized white chocolate crumble.It was quite a relaxing time next to the water on a clear day. The service from the hostess was top notch, friendly and attentive. Everyone there did a great job.

Driftwood Restaurant
Visited this restaurant during winter for dinner. Food was decent and reasonably priced. Waiting times was longer than expected but nothing too extreme. And also note that the portion is small. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed the service and ambience of the restaurant. Definitely worth going down to Lauderdale for this!

Cozy! Recommended for family meal. Lovely sitting near the canal looking over to the water and ducks! We went for lunch on sunday morning, it was busy. The price were decent but the portion we felt were quite small. Also there wasn't much option for vegetarians but few items which were good. Staff however weren't very friendly and welcoming (what we felt).

Food was excellent.Have not seen service this good in many top restaurants across the country. And on Christmas Eve as well (when many staff could be excused for wanting to be home)Wait staff were very attentive, and switched on around the needs of toddlers, while maintaining perfect etiquette for the other patrons. Attention to detail was on point.Food is top notch and presented very well.Views at rear of house looking onto water are great (reserve your table)

Poor service, small portions.The food is trying to be something it is not. Messy looking kitchen staff serving food that does not allign with what is advertised.What is delivered to the table is a far cry from what is on the menu. Bland and tastless for the most part.Very disapointed for a restaurant that has potential but I feel an entire new staff is required for this restaurant to thrive.

Beautiful restaurant by the canal. Zero waste with cloth napkins and hand towels.Excellent well priced food and the staff are friendly and accommodating.

We arrived after the usual lunch hour and were looked after very well. The atmosphere and view of the cansl were great and the food was divine. We will certainly return.

One of my favourite go to restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner right on the canal in Lauderdale with spectacular views. Varied selection ofwonderfully cooked dishes including vegetarian and GF as well as catering for the kids, all at reasonable prices.Today's meals included 2 mains, a bottle of wine and dessert.Driftwood also hosts weddings and parties, good to know.Staff are welcoming, friendly and are well versed on menu's and accompanying wines.I would recommend making a booking.There is parking, though fills up quickly. Street Parking is also an option in a well lit area. Wheel chair accessible.

Booked a window table for lunch today and was genuinely impressed with the service, food and coffee. Beautifully presented and full of flavour, nothing here could be faulted. Highly recommended to anyone who appreciates quality dining in an informal relaxed setting.
