Chicken teriyaki rice burger and salmon bowl are very delicious. The ingredients are very fresh.

Great place! The girl with the tattoos at the counter was such incredibly nice and welcoming that I would’ve loved to marry her, but instead I ordered a Yakisoba with prawns. Yummy.

We had lunch here today and it was excellent. Especially grateful for the kid size chicken rice bowl. Rice burgers were delicious, people very nice, loved the plants too. Very relaxing.

Loved the seared salmon bowl, so tasty. The chef is cool and friendly. Would definitely visit again.

The charming and kind girl who owns this place makes one the best food experience I had since a while : a fantastic rice burger with a touch of Japanese cuisine.If you come to Kuranda you HAVE to visit Big Forest Cafe !

Some clients of mine had recommended this cafe to me so while we were up in Kuranda we thought we would try it out and I’m so glad we did.The lovely owner was a pleasure to deal with and her food is made with love and it shows.Everything was tasty and well cooked.The rice burger was a nice twist for a gluten free burger.Thank you we will certainly be back when next in Kuranda.

We accidentally found this store after having the coffee at Kuranda coffee. This little cafe is really surprising us. Really yummy foods, very kind attitude and excellent customer service from the girl team member or probably owner? Even there is a bit waiting time but you have no complaints on it. We have order rice burger with pork and okonomiyaki. We were really enjoy it and it were so yum! Would like to go back and have another time as we are local.

If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere, with very fresh Asian inspired food and Vegan option, this café in Kuranda is the only place for you. The owner is also happy for you to grab a coffee from the Kuranda coffee shop next door and bring it in
