The Iron Yampi
Great new bar in Port. Selection of really nice local beers on tap. Plenty more in the fridge. Cocktails and wines available. Nice vibe with a comfy beer garden out back. I tried a burger and it was super tasty. Definitely recommend

The Iron Yampi
Went for lunch with my colleagues for an end of month meeting. Cannot fault the food, everything was delicious! Sat out in the beer garden in the sun, it was such a nice atmosphere. Ended up coming back with friends later in the evening for a couple of drinks. Such a great selection of cocktails, beers and spirits. Will definitely be back, I dare say this place will become a regular for me.

The Iron Yampi
It might just be that the Iron Yampi is the best thought out bar in the Illawarra.Inspired by the name of the first Ship to enter Port Kembla (SS Iron Yampi) the bar pays homage to Port both in name and in design.When stepping into the bar, you are first struck by the cool art deco interior, however, it is the walls that are adorned with photos and trinkets from yesteryear that you really get lost in! (Bonus points are given for the inclusion of a number of trophies from the famous Billy Kart Derby.)The drinks selection is fantastic. They provide a large range of cocktails followed by beer and wine with plenty of local offerings on show.The food was tasty, served in good time despite a busy (first) Friday night. The staff were all friendly and owners, Ben and Justine are an absolute delight.The atmosphere was electric, the place was full of locals all energised by Port’s newest nightlife spot.Get yourself down to the Yampi, you won’t be disappointed!

Really great little place for food and a drink. Great portion sizes and cold beverages. Highly recommend the burgers.

Firstly - best cocktails in the Illawarra. Try the Portside or ask for an off menu French Martini.The food is epic - Irish bangers and mash with red wine gravy will have me back for more, others in our group said the Pan fried snapper and Butchers steak were epic.Spiced Cauliflower bites and heirloom tomatoes also a big hit.We will be back. A lot !

Very cool atmosphere with friendly staff and nice decor. We had a eggplant parmigiana which was hot and delicious as well as a burger for the kids. The chips with the burger were amazing. Oh and great drinks at the bar too. Could easily spend an evening or lunch hanging out here!
