Well priced, great knowledge and advice. Would use them again

We had our roof insulation done with Insulation Centre. They did a fantastic job and the house is so very comfortable and warm now. They even followed up when we called them few days later.. Very reasonable price too. Highly recommended.

After selling my property the purchasers were requesting that I have the insulation checked in my roof cavity after a building inspection was done as they were worried of a potential fire due to down lights. No one would help me saying it wasn't in there area and they only install. I explained my situation to Deb who advised me that it wasn't in there area either but was still willing to help me anyway and sent her husband Chris to have a look at the roof for me. Chris was wonderful and gave me some great advice and put something in writing to send to the purchaser's, free of charge. I offered several times to pay for Chris's time but he refused. Deb and Chris went above and beyond for me and I highly recommend their outstanding service. Thanks again Deb and Chris, I am so appreciative of what you did for me. All the best to you both! Joanne

Steer well clear of this company!A litany of problems resulted in much wasted time, money and frustration. The owner supposedly measured our ceiling space and quoted on 22 packs of the larger batts. Two missed appointment times before they finally turned up. Found that the owner had made a “mistake” and the smaller sized batt was required so yet another time needed. The packs of smaller batts each cover less area than the larger packs quoted so 30 packs of the smaller size should have been needed to cover the same area as 22 bigger packs. The owner obviously knew that he had over-quoted the job because the installer only brought 21 packs to the job and only 18 of those were used, i.e. only 60% of the batts quoted. We expected an adjusted invoice for the owner’s “mistake” but none was forthcoming. The only response to our reasoned letter asking politely for an explanation was a threat of legal action if we didn’t pay the full amount immediately. Bringing so many less packs to the job than quoted, and then refusing to discuss it, strongly suggests a deliberate scam. How many others are overcharged who don’t realise it because they don’t know how many packs are used? To make matters worse we have now found through our handyman that the installation was a rushed job with batts at odd angles not trapping the heat as they should. Certainly don’t look like the neat job in the web photos. We will now need to pay someone more professional to fix their botched job. Choose a more honest operator next time.The owner has posted a response claiming that I am dishonest and a bully. I am prepared to provide copies of correspondence to anyone with a genuine interest, proving the accuracy of the facts described. All of my correspondence was simply courteously pointing out what I initially thought was a genuine error. The only responses I ever received from the owner were bullying threats of legal action, even when they hadn't even fixed the double charging. They never tried to answer the complaints. Being an accountant, obviously the time taken was far costlier than the amount in dispute but I felt obliged to dispute as a matter of principle. My solicitor said that it would be a clear case in my favour. Unfortunately, the VCAT member didn't understand the mathematics and kept saying that if the job had taken more material they couldn't have charged more and therefore they didn't have to adjust down for using less. As my solicitor said, this was not a case of quoting for an overall result. It was a quote for the supply and installation of a set number of bags of insulation. As they didn't even bring the quoted number of bags to the job, it is obvious that they deliberately over-quoted. The dishonesty is blatant and further proven by their response to the review which is easily shown by the correspondence to be false.

Have had a wonderful job done by Chris & Deb Cruddas, the guys did a great job and since having the insulation in the ceiling put in, I only have to set my heating at 18, not 24 like I did before. The tradespeople who did the job were punctual and friendly. Highly recommended.

Installer showed up on time, supplied the product quoted and did a neat job. Very happy.

I got a quote and was pleasantly surprised by the price and upon booking in, they told me they under quoted me; by around $1000. I needed time to think. Do I make them honour their quote, or compromise and meet half way? I called them back and asked to meet halfway which was met with a pretty solid no, and they would only remove $100. Being that I thought they were a small family business, I decided to book them in anyway. The booking was for between 8:30 and 9:30. Great, first job so he shouldn't be late.At 6:30am, I get a call from the delivery guy telling me he's at my door. Being that I have a 3 month old and a 3 year old, this was extremely inconvenient time as it woke them both up. When I rang to express my frustration about firstly the quote, and then the delivery coming without notification, I was met with a sorry but we didn't book them for that time." As well as a "well the quote is an estimate and we wouldn't have done it for that price and we have no obligation to do the job for that specified amount." So an insincere apology.So 8:30 comes

Good experience - I was really happy with a few extra comments that were given about making my place warmer, such as plastering up some old vents. Also they told me about a leak that I had around the flue in the ceiling, which was appreciated.
