Vertigo MTB- Blue Derby

A very enjoyable experience from start to end. We had to reschedule our trip due to circumstance and Vertigo made it happen without fuss. The bikes we hired were good quality and great working order. Vin and Chris attended to our every need, including picking up a friend on the trails who was injured. Chris’ trail knowledge was impressive. Highly recommended for the bike hire and shuttle combo and I’ll look to use them when in Derby next!

What a great team. We hired 2 E-bikes for 4 days and shuttled Black Stump, Blue Tier and Bay of Fires. Nothing was ever an issue, all staff were happy to chat and provide advice with a smile. Just great service, good quality bikes, buses, spares and apparel - no hesitation in coming back to Vertigo and would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks everyone at VMTB, you made our trip bloody awesome.

Amazing experience through the Derby trails with these guys. All day bike hire and shuttles up the mountain with briefing on the various trails so you know what you're getting yourself into and also to suit your skill level. I'll be back again for sure!

I've organised a group of 5 to Derby the last 2 years and both times have hired our bikes and shuttles through Vertigo. Cannot thank the team enough for making it so easy. Drivers every night checking if our hire bikes need anything before the next morning. Buck and the team go above and beyond to make sure everyone gets the perfect Derby experience.

We only have one day at Derby for our trip and I had to get it right so after a lot of research I chose Vertigo. Now I can say it was the right choice. Best value bikes, big range of shuttles and the staff went the extra mile to make our ride memorable. I would recommend to hire e-bikes if doing the Blue Tier + Altas so your hole ride is enjoyable. Special shout out for RJ for giving us a gift at the end with a last ride and Felipe to tune our bikes to our riding style and your recommendations. Thanks guys we will remember this day forever.

Just finished a trip down to Derby and did two days with them on trips out to Bay Of Fires and Blue Tier and they did an excellent job. Great support team that made you feel supported and safe.

I had the best time in Derby with Vertigo. I was able to organise a private skills clinic (I sent an email to request this service as it is not offered on their main site at the moment (October 2020)) and so got to spend the day with Josh the complete legend! Josh showed me how to ride like a pro while we had great fun playing on some awesome trails.At the time I was in Derby, the area had been recently hit by a major storm, so some of my shuttle bookings needed to be rearranged, the guys at Vertigo looked after all of this for me and were in contact with me before I arrived to offer alternatives.These guys not only provide great service with shuttles and bike rentals, but also have intimate knowledge the of the trails and their current condition.

Had a great time using Vertigo shuttles the past 2 days. Complete the Atlas/Blue Tier day and a full day of shuttles to the black stump.They cater for all skill levels, which is great to see and clearly passionate riders themselves. I can always appreciate people, who can get stoked and make that feeling contagious.Will definitely use again when I’m back!

I've been shuttling with VertigoMTB every year since 2015. Customer loyalty is very important to them and this means they'll go out of their way to ensure you have a great time when using their bike hire and shuttling service. They do provide mechanical assistance to their customers. They DO NOT provide an ambulance service - call 000.

If you're in Derby for mountain biking these guys have got you sorted! We did blue tier/atlas, local black stump and bay of fired shuttles. Great staff and service. All were very knowledgeable when it came to the trails. Will definitely be using them next time we come back to tassie!
