Boyd's Tower
Reopened Dec 23, 2022 after the upgrade of the facilities. New trails, lookouts, and car park. Appears some works are still ongoing. Park fee pay station is not yet operational, but looks to be of the parking meter type, which should accept EFTPOS. Mainly sealed road from the highway, but a short 1.2km unsealed section to get to the car park, no 4WD required.

Lovely spot to visit. Very clean and well maintained. Easy walk and great views. A bit of a trip off the main road but if you have the time it's definitely worth it.

Great defined track to get to the Tower. Dirt road 2 WD access, well graded. Once here its a short walk then it’s beautiful views out at the tower and an interesting piece of history.

Highly recommend a visit to Boyd's tower. Magnificent piece of history. Stunning coastal views. We saw a tiger snake so keep your eyes out. Watched massive balls of fish in the ocean. Plenty of car parks and toilet on site.

Fascinating place to visit and well worth going just to see the architecture of the place, let alone the views back towards Eden. The historic Davidson’s Whaling Station is also worth looking at, even though it is a bit of a trek into the bush to get to. It’s wonderful that these places are being so well preserved for future generations to understand our History.
