You got to love how they make a promise on they quietly. But when you take them up on their offer, they quickly back pedal and give you an ambiguous excuse why they can't fulfill it. When asked to clarify the receptionist can't answer or provide addition information. I would be very much surprised if she does actually ring me back and gives me a detailed reason. To me it sounds like a very well thought out scam. Will not be buying from them again. Be very skeptical about their warranty if you do buy. It's a real shame since they have a fairly good rating but only from people who have just purchased from them. Would like to see reviews from people who have tried to claim on their warranty.

The Makin showroom at Sandgate Newcastle was amazing. Plenty of different mattress and bed bases to choose from and windows into the factory where you could see them being made here in Australia! Sue the saleslady knew her stuff and advised us and was also discrete in giving us enough information to come to our own decision. We now have the bed and mattress at home and are very happy! Patrick & Vincent.

After looking around at a number of bedding outlets, we tried Makin Mattresses and we were so glad we did!We received first class service from Annette when we purchased our bed 4 years ago spending a few hours in the showroom trying different beds. Annette showed amazing patience and could not do enough to assist us.Fast forward 4 years and nothing has changed. We contacted Annette about the amazing comfort guarantee (that we thought was too good to be true) and we redeemed it last Sunday without an issue, once again receiving great service from Annette.Annette is a credit to the company and we can’t speak highly enough of her.We highly recommend purchasing your next bed from Makin Mattresses.
