Peninsula Gates & Automation

We used Peninsula gates for our property in Mt Eliza and were very happy with the service quality & cost. So much so that we now use Trevor for maintenance on gates at all of our properties.

Trevor installed a new automated gate for us in Mornington about 12 months ago and we can't recommend him highly enough. From the first chat through to completion and taking our phone calls to explain things further after installation, nothing was too much trouble for Trevor and the end product is perfect. Trevor also took the old gates away for us at no charge and we're wrapped in the GSM System he suggested we include. The gate is brilliant, Trevor was great to deal with and has always taken our calls whenever we've needed to call him since the gate was installed.

We recently replaced a gate automation system that is also coded to our garage door on a separate channel. In addition we needed a power back up and also a manual release for good measure (Power outages in Mount Eliza being annoying and frequent). The battery is ‘good’ for up to five days we are told - equivalent to one of the fails experienced. So, having ‘neighbours’ and family who employed this company we decided to do likewise. The removal of the old system and fitting of the new one was carried out seamlessly and professionally. In selecting this company we noted ‘they’ have been in business for ‘ever’ and Trevor is a direct and plain - speaking man who we clearly trust. R & E

From design to installation, Trevor was extremely helpful, professional and always at hand to answer any questions. Trevor offered us automation options that others didn't and we are thrilled with the end result (not to mention many passers by commenting on how good it looks!!) Trevor did a wonderful job with our gate, which we LOVE! He takes a lot of pride in his work. He was also very patient with our children who wanted to watch every stage of the job and know exactly what was happening. Any issues that we have had, have been addressed in a timely manner, on the one occasion I called when the gate didn't open due to a power outage, Trevor called the following day (while he was on holidays) to ensure that everything was working as it should. We have recently used Trevor's services to add automation to some existing gates. Ours was quite a difficult job to get right due to our gates being very large and heavy with Trevor having to come back on many occasions without complaint until he got it completely right. Any issues we have had he has come Immediately even though he would have had other jobs on the go. We cannot recommend Trevor highly enough for going out of his way to ensure we were totally satisfied with the end result and for being a total gentleman to deal with.

We had our gates installed by Peninsula Gates and Automation a couple of years ago and have just recently had Trevor back for a complete service of the units.
