Perth Neurofeedback Practice.The work Lara has done with my 17yr old son has changed the landscape of his life for the better in so many ways. As a mother I wondered what hope we had and if he would ever be capable of finding his purpose.He was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia in yr 10 after years of struggle and thinking he was dumb. Following the diagnosis he completely fell apart, developing anxiety and depression, attempting suicide. By the time we met Lara his brain had “had enough”. We had pulled him from main steam school and he was just “parked up”, unable to move forward in life. Too afraid and literally unable to force his brain into learning mode. The stress and anxiety of the past years had caused too much damage for him to just overcome without help. We had seen doctors, psychiatrist, psychologist and all had helped. But nothing seemed to be able to help him switch the lights back on in his head.Then he started working with Lara and having Neuro feedback sessions....GAME CHANGER!!The therapy works to change the brain pathways and switch the brain on. Suddenly my boy began to re-engage in family life. It was as if he was able to start switching the lights back on in his head. He was smiling more. Now he has re-engaged with school to finish year 11&12, something he never thought he’d be able to do. He has purpose in his life and is setting goals for himself. He looks and sounds like a different kid, his head is held high.I highly recommend this treatment. Lara is passionate about her work. The way she connected with Noah was full of empathy, compassion and encouragement. She told him a better life was possible and she was right. Thank God!!!!
