Coastal Dental Care Mudgeeraba

Christine is the best dentist I have been to. I am a dentist hater and fearful of going, due to many traumatic visits when younger. But she made me feel relaxed and not like she was going to stab my brain from the inside.Coastal Dental have been looking after my family for many years and they have always been great. Great advice and great customer service from the front desk staff.Highly recommended!

The entire team gave excellent customer service. The reception staff were friendly, the dental assistant was attentive to my needs and the dentist got very gentle and light hands which made the treatment very comfortable. Options are made available and well explained.

The best dental practice I have been to. The reception ladies were so kind and helpful. Dr Alison Downes was amazing and very reassuring. She made the procedure painless and easy. I am so grateful to have finally found a practice for my whole family

Edit3: I got a callback from the staff and they were happy to explain the pricing and have swapped my mouth wash on a clean to a different non-flouride solution. I am very surprised by this business's desire to improve and can definitely recommend them.Edit2: I don't like that they don't talk to you very much about what goes in to your mouth and why. Good explanations go a long way. I had a large dose of fluoride from them and feel quite ill. It is also common for them to say they've discounted you but never mention how they got to the price they originally said. $300 was discounted to $200 when I visited but when I called them I asked how much it would cost anyway and they said $200... so what is the discount exactly? Strange stuff.Edit: Friendly staff and one of the least painful (physically) dentist experiences.I can confidently say that the workers here care about the clients and their reputation. Both a good thing.Upon original review a manager has reached out and clarified that I was mis-booked in my last visit and that I should have instead gotten a standard check-up in which they would have covered all areas of interest.Even upon leaving I was asked whether or not all my questions had been answered and if I had more and all staff were more than willing to answer all questions even in depth.Original review:Decent reception and good at answering questions but important issues were not raised. To get a proper checkout you would need to attend multiple times which is a very poor motivator to return.

Such an excellent dental practice on so many levels. Professional, state of the art equipment, kindness x caring attitude towards me. Seeing young children come out happy, smiling and enjoying their newfound toys(a spider, attached to dental floss .... Brilliant).Can so highly recommend this dental practice in Mudgeeraba !!

Ali was wonderful. Of course she is a great dentist, what I really appreciated was the respect and politeness to those assisting. May I please and thank you, are so good to hear, even though you can’t acknowledge because of everything going on in my mouth. Patients can’t speak, but we can listen. This was really impressive, thank you.

I have never been to a dentist, from reception all the way through the process, whether a filling, teeth cleaning or a extraction of a tooth, that makes feel so comfortable, in my all life, especially coming from Sydney, and all the dentists I have experienced, being 62 years of age now.Alison and her team are truly people that really care, and I mean really care, they treat you like your family, and are very reassuring.I can’t speak highly enough, of the team at Coastal Dental Care at Mudgeeraba.I have suffered from panic attacks for 35 years, and going to a dentist, use to be the last thing you wanted, but now, because of Alison, I turn up to my appointments, thanks Alison and her team.Highly recommend this Surgery
