Good casual Japanese dining. I felt price was reasonable for the quality and for a sit down meal. Presentation of food was excellent.Would definitely recommend booking for dinner to ensure you get a table (most of the tables were already reserved, though if it's a later reservation they do take walk-ins, provided they get the table back by the reservation time)Only suggestion is that they look at the order of serving up the dishes, we had to remind them for our sake after most of the food had arrived and was half way finished. Also I guess being Korean run they don't serve/provide green tea by default (which would have been nice on a cold evening)Feel like the food would be good to takeaway and eat at home. The Wagyu Udon was lovely on a cold night.Would go again.

Slick modern interior with an open kitchen. Able to get a walk in seating for two for Sunday dinner but soon filled up quickly. For a Korean run Japanese restaurant the food was good, the nigiri was nicely presented. We ordered the chicken karaage bento plate which came with salmon sashimi and nigiri; this was light & easy to eat. The karaage was fresh from the fryer but with the BBQ and mayo sauce it quickly made it soggy. The deluxe sashimi and sushi platter was lacking variety as it felt quite tiring having the same flavours/fish for the sushi and sashimi. Maybe they had a shortage in stock on the night as other photos from previous reviews had scallops and aburi variations for the sushi portion. There is also a walled off private seating area which would be great for larger groups!

I recommend making a booking before you come to the restaurant because the tables are filled very quickly.I often buy takeaway from here, but during my first time dining in, the service was great, our food came out in a reasonable time, and it was really delicious.

Yuzu at Epping is a haven for those seeking solace from the humdrum of the week. With its delightful Yuzu tea, mouthwatering gyoza, and beautifully crafted Rainbow roll, this restaurant is a haven for food enthusiasts. The combination of delectable flavors, impeccable service, and inviting ambiance make it a true gem in the culinary landscape. I wholeheartedly recommend Yuzu to anyone in search of a memorable dining experience. Prepare to be dazzled!

Food is very good and the portion is very generous especially considering the price. The sushi and sashimi platter was very fresh. The selection of fish was also quite diverse and nice.Would definitely like to try the other items in the menu next time!

Fairly decent Japanese in the Epping area though the prices are slightly higher (as well as the quality) compared to the other Japanese restaurants in the area. Great interior, new, and clean. Staffs are friendly and attentive. We started with a small platter of sashimi ($23 for 9 pieces) that comes with salmon, tuna (akami), snapper, and kingfish - fresh and quite generous with portions. For mains, we ordered the BBQ Wagyu bento ($31) and Teriyaki Salmon bento ($26). Each bento comes with 3 pieces of salmon sashimi, 2 salmon nigiris, crumbed prawn, soup, salad and rice. The beef could be wagyu, but certainly wasn’t a cut with much marbling - some pieces were fairly tender and some were slightly chewy. They were cooked medium rare which was great.Teriyaki salmon was a little over cooked and slightly dry. The crumbed prawns were meh, found it to be a little weird that it was served in an ‘mid to upper market’ Japanese restaurant. Also thought it was a little challenging eating from those plates which were a little shallow compared to the typical bento boxes.

One of our favourite local Japanese restaurants in sydney! The food is affordable and good quality. They also have a range of dishes from bento, sushi, donburi and hotpot. Our favourite is the wagyu beef donburi, quite generous is serving! We also enjoy their sukiyaki! The dessert like fried ice cream was also nice but more expensive. Overall their food is quite nice with a diverse range of Japanese dishes.

- The decor is pretty impressive, very minimal and feels just like a Japanese restaurant.- service is friendly- food was quite fresh and delicious but the chicken teriyaki Yaki udon slightly saltier than usual.- pricing is abit on the high end.
