Abbey Vale Wines

Booo to paying for tastings! I find at least one bottle of wine to buy in 9 out of 10 wineries I visit. I don’t really like the idea of paying for tastings up front. I get it’s something for free, especially if you don’t end up buying, but that’s what makes trips to Margie’s so special.

Lovely service and great selection of locol produce as well as wine. Very relaxing views of the river.

Came to Abbey Vale today , the service was exceptional , the lady that was doing the wine tastings was so friendly had a great bubbly personality and so professional , we were offered what ever we wanted in wine tastings to try , not like some places that judge and make you feel uncomfortable and charge for tastings. What also made our experience great was the lady in the cheese area , again very friendly and offered tastings of what ever we wanted and then made a wonderful cheese board for us . The staff even accommodated us to changing tables and then the table was a little unstable which the staff member noticed straight away and fixed ,that is great customer service. Very happy we will be back . The view and surroundings are beautiful as well.Rosa

Relaxed feel. Pick your cheese and wine and sit on the verandah near the dam.

I shouldn't tell anyone about this place. It's great to be able to choose some cheese for a plater and a bottle of wine and enjoy the view from the deck. When the South West is teaming with tourists it's like a hidden gem.

Had a great experience with Harry. Showed us some lovely wines. Enjoyed them all. Stand out was the fortified Grenache. A very interesting wine.

First time visiting in several years. Harry was in the cellar door and he was great, looked after us and was very easy going. Cheers.

Brilliant service, great wine and the cheese was gooooood

Yallingup Cheese - these are the BEST cheeses we've ever tasted. As a group of 5 people, we ordered a three cheese board ($35.00). I'm not sure what they are doing differently to the rest but keep going. We had the St Marcellin; a goat milk cheese (Unsure of the name and we weren't sure about this one but it was fantastic); and the delicious soft cheese Suzette. We paired with Abbey Vale Chenin Blanc, a prefect accompaniment. We will be back!!!
