Welcoming place for a feed and a beer. Food is priced well and the servings are generous. Only loses a star as vegetarians aren't catered for well.

Great pub great food awesome staff had full rack of rids in Jack Daniels glaze and steak with a seafood topper the prawns were big both meals were very large portions and were extremely tasty

Awesome and tidy pub on the main drag. Friendly service, cold beer and probably the best hot chips we've ever had. All for great prices too! Definitely call in for a coldie.

The Royal Tavern is a lovely pub. The dinning room was spacious and clean. I ordered the steak and it was cooked the way I asked for it, chips, salad and Diane sauce.Overall I feel like there is room to just step it up a notch to make people want to go there as the destination. The food lacked seasoning and almost no taste to the sauce. Nothing bad but it seems they have settled for just good.I have a pet peeve when wait staff want to clear a table before everyone has finished. Message to all hospitality staff; all elements are as important as each other! Great food and ordinary service will lose customers and ordinary food and great service will do the same.Just because it's a little country pub doesn't mean it can't be amazing.

A genuinely lovely country pub with exceptional staff and something for everyone on their bistro menu. The barramundi is simply delicious, highly recommend!

Friendly and polite staff. Clean and beautiful old pub. The food arrived quite quickly and was very well priced for the size of the meals. The plates were filled to the brim with huge, delicious meals which were cooked to absolute perfection! Highly recommend you stop in.
