Wonderful experience! Always providing me with great care and attention to detail. Definitely my favourite place in Forest Lake to get my X-rays and ultra sounds. Charlie is thorough and professional - thank you so much!

Had a terrible experience having my renal ultrasound. The guy doing ultrasound was a student or apprentice. There was another person assisting him as a trainer. So, basically the guy was practising “HOW”to do ultrasound on me. They never informed me that a student will be performing ultrasound on me. Otherwise, i would have never gone there for ultrasound. Even if they would have informed me this at reception, I would definitely have refused to go ahead with ultrasound.I had similar ultrasounds before and average time is 15-20 mins in complete process. But he took almost 10-15 mins on each kidney just to take measurements of kidney. It was most horrible experience laying down there and waiting for all this to finish. The other person who introduced himself as assistant should have done it if student wasn’t able to do it properly, but he didn’t do that. He was allowing his trainee to take as much time as he need without any rush, as if I am some Dummy who is not feeling anything. Most importantly, they hardly care they are exposing someone’s body to sound waves continuously which do have risks if exposed for longer time and they should try to minimise such exposure. And that’s really shameful on their part as being heath care professionals. This is very unprofessional and unethical that you are experimenting and practicing on someone’s body without informing them and without their consent. Basically they are charging people to get practice on themselves. Is it Joke or something.THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME. Someone already reported similar incident about a year ago. Still they are practicing same thing. I don’t think so that even my review will make any difference. But I want to put a review because at least customer who will read the review before going there for diagnosis can give a second thought. As I would have never gone there if I would have read that earlier review before.I highly recommend that NEVER GO THERE FOR DIAGNOSING

The I-Med staff are wonderful. Thank you for being so accommodating to fit me in for an emergency scan to check out an early pregnancy concern.A special mention to the ultrasonographer Murray, who treated my concerns with sensitivity, understanding and reassurance. He is fantastic. This experience meant alot to this frazzled, hormonal lady.

I'm not sure if the owner is flagging my story because I'm the only one that gave one star but my story and my review is real. Please just accept the criticism instead of hide it.I had an ultrasound and it was a horrible experience. It was a student the one that did it. Such ultrasound that i had done before twice lasted only 15 minutes. Here they took exactly a whole HOUR to do it! Can you imagine how horrible is that an they examine your female part for so long? They ask you to drink a lot of water for this and I really wanted to go to the bathroom for so long.No one told me they were gonna use a student for examination. My partner was at reception with me and he agrees they did not say that. The student informed me she was a student when I was already in and I didn't feel like I had too many options. Also if I had known it meant I was gonna be an hour there because she was a student I would have definitely say no.I have health anxiety and i was horrified. I felt terrible i just wanted to leave but i had took lot of courage for me to go and i had avoided it for months. It was a very bad experience for me.The girl from reception was super nice and gave me correct instructions for going to the ultrasound. The stablishment is actually very clean and modern. But i had to give a low mark cause my experience was so bad.

Highly recommend coming here for a scan - the team is so helpful! I called up after calling around the area for an urgent scan, they were the only place to put me on hold and see what they could do to fit me in, despite being fully booked. The receptionists were lovely and super friendly, and the sonographer was also really nice!

Had my 20 week ultrasound here which was just an awful experience but I had a 7 week one here and was wonderful.Sonographic just couldn’t be bothered and complained how much the baby was moving and changing positions and couldn’t get the photos he needed and told me prob won’t get the photos because I had a belly button piercing in I offered to try remove but he said don’t worry about it , asked if I knew the gender I said oh I had early gender scan but obviously was weeks ago so this should be more accurate ? Then he went silent asked where I had the scan and didn’t tell me the gender , I asked if he knew , he said well I don’t see a “penis” so I asked so confirming it’s a girl ? He couldn’t give me a straight answer just said well if they say the early gender scan is accurate and “I never give 100% I will only give u 90%. “ this is my third baby , never had a experience like this where I just wanted to leave . He told me everything was fine at the end of it and I go to doctor to find out heart has small VSD and thanks to the 2 second listen to heart beat . I’ll never come back here to FL.

I made a ct scan appointment online. Upon arrival, I was greeted by an extremely bored receptionist who gave me the forms to fill. she asked me if I had fasted and I told her that I had water and medication and I was not even aware that I was suppose to fast. She said we tell patients to fast. I only received an acknowledgement email which did not mention fasting at all. surely after patients make an appointment online, the office must get notifications and if there is any requirements before the scan, they need to call us and let us know before. I also have a phobia of needles and I was asked to sign a form to authorise a dye injection. I went back to the same receptionist telling her that I was not even aware about the injection and she started to lose her patience saying that it will be required and I don't need to go through the scan if I don't want to. Like who does she think she is telling me that I do not need to go through the scan. My doctor specifically requested this scan for a reason. I did not want to argue with this receptionist so I went back to my seat. The only good thing was when the radiographer came to get me, I told him that I have a fear of needles and I am petrified. He was so understanding and sweet and told me that I do not need to get the injection if I don't want to. So a very big thank you to Vu who understood what I was going through. I was about to have a panic attack and it stopped asap. Please ensure that the future patients are aware of what is going to happen to them before the scans and if fasting is required. Also call them up, if an appointment is made via the website. Lastly the receptionist needs to understand how to talk to customers.
