Valerie has extensive experience to draw upon regarding interior design and she is helping us to achieve a unified and very welcoming look in our house. She works with the highly skilled team at Anna Livia to deliver top quality outcomes. We initially bought ornate curtains with swags and tails from Anna Livia 15 years ago and they still look lovely so we wouldn’t go anywhere else for curtain and shades.She has consistently provided us with excellent advice on soft furnishings using her natural sense of style and an eye for detail. She knows which fabrics will work together harmoniously with the other elements in a room, where to add accents for interest and how to choose the right level of ornamentation.Valerie also excels in developing options that meet practical and aesthetic requirements. Our family room has a number of different shaped windows and I wasn’t sure how the curtains could be designed to accomodate this. Valerie came up with a beautiful and practical solution. We are really happy with the quality and look of these new curtains and shades. They are also saving us money in heating and cooling bills so are cost effective.She is very patient and clearly articulates the rationale behind recommending certain design choices. She’ll keep hunting to find the right product, using her extensive network of professional contacts. This saves us time because she understands the look we are trying to achieve and then tracks down soft furnishings that are perfectly suitable. She also opens our eyes to new possibilities that we wouldn’t have considered. For example, our kitchen window has Roman blinds that depict a forest with birds so that when they are down, it gives the appearance of looking out the kitchen window into a soothing forest.We look forward to getting the rest of our house completed with her friendly, enthusiastic and very thoughtful guidance and the installation of the high quality Anna Livia products!
