Armidale Allingham's Removals

To start, we called to discuss a move within Armidale. After calling, we were advised they would visit our house to assess a quote. On the day, nobody came and required another call to get said quote.Fast forward half an hour and a gentleman arrived to assess our belongings. We were asked 5 times whether everything would be packed and informed him it would be.After a map was drawn up of the house with belongings, we were provided a quote. Keep in mind, this was a 2 bedroom apartment being moved within the city limits with a small drop off to the tip. This was a 6 minute drive up the road.Total cost of invoice: $2860 inclusive of GST.The same items moved from Sydney to Armidale, a 6+ hour drive was $2600.Ended up with another removalist in the town, total cost including GST and tip fees: $1260.We would not recommend these guys based on the lack of service and the absurd pricing when compared to a competitor. Highly suggest Robinson Removals!

To start off I'm pretty OCD when it comes to my belongings, these guys practically moved my entire place (blind without me present), highly rate these guys, and on top of that cost was absolutely amazing! and if you don't think that is enough? They went above and beyond to place all my essential items in the right spot, This is a 5 star from me, and I definitely don't give 5 stars for many reviews. Well done Allinghams!

What a fantastic company. Was concerned moving my mum's piano from Armidale to the Central Coast but I needn't have worried as they were very, very careful. Would definitely use again.

Moved from Brisbane to Armidale so the whole thing was a big logistical issue. Also a delay between moving out and in to the new house so needed storage. John, Jeff, Rob and the team were awesome. Would only ever use them in future and would recommend to anyone. Also the cost was surprisingly modest given the distance.

We rate the service we received from Allignhams very highly. Their prices were so reasonable I was actually worried that we were going to get second rate service, but this was not the case. They turned up exactly when they were due, took a great deal of care packing and loading, and the same high level of care at the other end unloading. We had not taken insurance, and we actually had an issue where they damaged a leather lounge getting it through a door. I thought we would have been on our own" without insurance

I used Allingham's Removals twice. First time to move a few things from Sydney to Tamworth. I was not able to go myself to load my stuff so had to provide an instruction to Allingham's how to access & load. They did exactly as I asked and delivered without any trouble in time. Great experience on the second time too. Always on time. Very reliable and responsive. Thumbs up.

I cannot thank the team and management at Allingham's removal enough. I got stranded interstate during the pandemic and had to pack up my place in Armidale and store my personal belongings which included items of sentimental value like my late mother's artwork. As you can imagine this was supposed to be a psychological and logistical nightmare. But it wasn't. There was no sense of violation in how my belongings were handled, the team was super professional. My belongings were wrapped and packed professionally and with care. Management showed care for and were responsive to my personal circumstances. They went the extra mile with helping me get some smaller boxes sent to Melbourne with another Carrier. The whole interaction was managed efficiently, seamlessly and professionally. This business is run with integrity. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Craig, John and team!

Top notch service. I ordered a backload and I couldn't be happier. The price was very fair and there was communication throughout. I was there to meet the guys on pick up and my mum took delivery 1000km down the road. I was worried about moving antique and glass furniture and mum said it all arrived in perfect nic. The guys were great to deal with and friendly to chat to. Thanks again and I will definitely use your service again if I need a moving job. =D

My experience was unbelievable. Please do your homework. Overpriced by at least$1000they unestimate the size of the move and if you're from interstate make sure that you don't want to move in on a Saturday they don't work on a Saturday. I had double up of everything in my house which let 3 different men I spoke to know. They sent a 35 cubic metres truck. Left a quarter of my stuff back in Victoria and didn't deliver that until 3 weeks later. I wouldn't recommend them ever. I haven't seen this before I questioned another removalists later they would have sent a 100cubic metre truck. Tried to ring a few days before the move and couldn't get in touch.the response to the owner of Allingham's removalists you seem to know how to stretch the truth to suit yourself you did not try to contact me at all before the move. If there are no records of you attempting to contact be those times that you now state. You seem to always stretch the truth. Please anyone considering this company think twice because again they don't work Saturday. I have no issues with the actual moving men it's the administration staff who don't seem to know who the owner is when something goes wrong with your move. And remember if you do have these removalists try and tell them everything you have otherwise you don't receive everything until 3 weeks later as I did. Would you be difficult I the circumstances

I was extremely happy with the service that Armidale Allingham's Removals provided. They took great care with my furniture and were very pleasant and efficent. They wore masks and were respectful of all Covid restrictions. I would definitely use this company again.
