We are here on vacation from Melbourne, and had dinner here today after reading the reviews. It really *is* good.The staff is very polite (Nepali origin), the cook is non-Indian, but the taste is Indian indeed!A tad pricey (a meal for three would be north of $100, without alcohol) than most restaurants in Melbourne, but then it's at a tourist place, so can do it on a vacation.A bit spicy (not hot) but definitely worth a visit!

I went their with my family for a celebration and the space was beautiful! It has such cultural decor and is very spacious. When we were about to order too much food the staff were kind enough to let us know that they portions are very genorous and that we didn’t actually have to order a lot to be satisfied! They were very kind and polite and the food was very delicious and filling! Such a beautiful restaurant with deliciously authentic Indian food! Definitely a must go restaurant!

Nightmare restaurant manager! Attended a celebration function for a dear friend who was celebrating an important occasion with approx. 40 people. The manager/business owner was a nightmare to deal with, did not want our group arriving early to set up decorations, did not want to alter the table layout in the private function room, was trying to charge for late exit by about 5 minutes, and when it came time to settle the bill, he yelled and was abusive to my friends, trying to charge extra for use of air-conditioning, use of the bluetooth speakers, etc., and applied a 15% surcharge for the function, plus had the audacity to take photos of the room we decorated, likely for promotional use. The staff looked embarrassed by the manager's behaviour. The rest of the staff were lovely and the food was excellent. Unfortunately the manager made the experience very difficult and I would NOT recommend this venue for private functions.

This place is awesome.I love reading the reviews posted on Google this place rated fairly well and I can see why.Food was fabulous and you can order from your table which is fun as well. Be careful hower, when you order through the waitstaff they explain the meals and sizes of the meals. When you order by yourself, you can order a meal that is designed for two and have to eat it yourself. Ohh well, pleasant mistake which I enjoyed thoroughly. LolThe Paneer Chili was the entrees in question, every mouthful was a culinary adventure into flavour heaven.Generous serving sizes all round.Ohh... and the Cheese and Spinach Naan will blow your mind.

No wonder this place is rated the best Indian in Cairns. We love our Indian and could not fault the food here. Simran looked after us extremely well and gave us some terrific tips on what to order based on our preferences. Phenomenal food. Highly recommended.

Great food with plesent ambience, staff were friendly.Beer and wine were cold.They supply take away containers so you don't feel like you are wasting money, just take home the left overs for dinner tomorrow, trust me when I say there will be leftovers as serving sizes are generous.We had both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes as the selection was so vast.Only negative was the speed that the meals come out you didn't have time to take a breath (ask them to maybe slow down a bit between courses as you need settling time)Clean amenities.

Ordered a single curry, rice and naan at 5:20 for delivery. I was quoted for it to arrive at 6:15-630. Almost two hours later at 7:05 it finally arrived….cold. On a positive note, I was able to complete my washing, drying and folding/put away. One more hour, and I may have been able to rediscover the Tesla coil.

We had the butter chicken and the beef vinadloo, both curries were amazing with good sized portions. The food was more pricey but very well worth it for the quality and taste. Highly recommend.
