They didn't advise me when i had used the last of my e-script (which they held on the premises) the previous time I went, so i showed up today and was unable to get my prescription. I had to pay the full cost for a sample pack of 5 days and they said they'd give the balance to me next time. Unlikely as I dont want to get stuck using them for another three months! It also costs literally double for the exact same products compared to my regular chemist at chadstone, who I was unable to get to during the 5km lockdown. Terrible.

The older gentleman pharmacist up the back is a class act. Friendly, fantastic service. Love him. +1*That said, the frumpy old lady at the front desk is rude as they come. I had 4 wisdom teeth out an hour earlier and needed to get pain killers. I had some trouble describing what I needed. My mouth was full of wadding and blood. She looked mad that I couldn't talk, and probed me as to why I needed the pills even though I had a script. I pointed to my massive face and slurred wisdom teeth". She glared

Rude and incompetent staff. Every time I come here there's several mistakes done by staff and I have to wait for ages. Blamed me for THEIR mistake. Just go to Bentleigh and avoid this place like the plague.

This is my local but I prefer to go to Carnegie. Staff are not very friendly or helpful. There is one older lady in particular who will do everything to avoid eye contact and obviously does not like giving customer service. She doesn't offer the generic brand for scripts or ask if you need any help. I have wandered around in this store and not been offered assistance (despite being the only person in the shop) on several occassion. Try to avoid if customer service is important to you.

The white middle age Brunette lady working at the front counter with cosmetics .. refused to serve me just because I am dark skin Asian. She is racist. Avoid this place altogether .... !!!

Great telephone manner and service. They price matched Chemist Warehouse on a $199 blood pressure monitor. This store normally at sell it at $220.At the time I was shopping, the same model, Omron HEM7280T, is sold at $207 on Amcal online store. Glen Waverley store quoted $350 on phone. Omron Australia online store listed RRP at $249.I called up head office, and I was told each Amcal store is independently owned and make own decision on price.

Was looking for 5 Covid 19 Antigen rapid Tests, AS WE ARE A FAMILY OF , guess what...5!! So, when I went to the pharmacy I was waiting shortly to get in front of the lady that served the counter on the back.Asked for 5, she opened in front of me a BRAND NEW BOX and said I will give you only 2, as we need to serve others as well.I said, I've been to 5 stores in Bentleigh, Carnegie and St Kilda without avail and I need 5, as we are 5.no ,can't give any more.So now, we're Still on the hunt.Nice one mates!
