You are doing a good job!

I didn't come away with any goodies but the store is welcoming, people are friendly and there are a few branded treasures hidden amongst the racks. I'll definitely be back next time

The kindness of the public has contributed many lovely things to this op shop. Who use the sales proceeds for many worthwhile projects aiming to help people in need. Tirelessly manned and operated by volunteers, the inner city location with good parking facility means a high visitation. The staff is calling for more volunteers! Please help!

Just came to arrive there when I was stopped by a male employer that was waiting out the door because I wanted to donate some things. However, I was told that they can’t accept donations at the moment because they needed to get the roof done or something. They should’ve put that on the notice like either on the website or outside the store. What a joke!...._.

St vinnies in Ascot vales is really good, lots of variety & heaps of bargains.lots of room to move around. There is security at the front door so it's very safe. The staff are very helpful, they were making sure we were keeping our 1.5m distancing at the registers

Average. Not much variation in items, seems a little static, not very much turnover. Nice and generally helpful staff, though.Update: prices vary a bit here, a little bit expensive in some cases, otherwise, still ok. A reasonable selection of items.

This use to be a great St Vinnies to shop in when Patrick was managing the store, its now got really unfriendly staff, I don't donate here anymore.

Very Disappointed. Purchased very expensive item as a gift but was unsure if it would fit. I was reassured by staff member I had 7 days to return for refund just speak to manager. Unfortunately it did not suit and I returned 2 days later however manager refused to refund and only offered credit note. Normally I would have been ok with a credit note and in reality I never return items to an op shop anyway. I just redonate if doesn’t suit but this was a large outlay for me. I am now out of pocket and forced to shop at Vinnies till I can use it up. I would never have spent that much in first place had I have known this was the case for such a large amount. I Was told by manager the particular staff advice was incorrect and it was a casual volunteer?? Whatever! Aren’t all your staff volunteers? As a manager you should train all volunteers to be consistent and not give wrong information. I hope you are happy with taking my hard earned cash and now also have item to resell. Looks like I lost out as the LOYAL customer. In this current climate a lot of us are facing hardships and choose to shop at secondhand stores to save money and also support charities. I have supported this store for many years through many donations and purchases, it’s so disappointing that I wasn’t supported in this one off occasion.Update 4/5/23 - Further to this I also discovered today that the credit note - which I was reassured by the Manager herself, after asking 3 times, that it was valid for 12 months. Well I can confirm this was also incorrect information given. Really how do you expect the volunteers to get it right when the manager themselves misinforms customers!!!Vinnies Ascot Vale you really need customer service levels to lift, starting from the manager.
