Ruined my white doonah cover and pillowslips. Worst dry cleaners ever - do not go there

Great service and great price

Recently, I put in 6 items to be dry cleaned. I didn't have my glasses, so I asked the gentleman behind the counter, how much? He told me $30.50 and gave me the docket. When I came to collect my clothes, I was told by a very rude old woman that the EFTPOS was not working and it will cost me $42.00. When I queried the price, she said that the price had been wrongly calculated and that's what I had to pay. I went up the street and got some cash out and when I came back I again told the woman that I didn't think this was right, but I paid her the money. I then asked her for a receipt for my $42 and she refused to give me one, saying she could change the amount on the original docket. I told her this was not good enough and since I had paid the money I wanted a receipt (for tax) that reflected what I had paid. I told her I would never use this dry cleaners again. She grabbed $10 out of the till, slammed it on the counter and told me not to come back again. I don't know what kind of scam she is running? Is she complimenting her wages?? I have never seen such poor customer service from a small business. I would not recommend using this dry cleaners.
