Gents Cave Barber Wantirna

If I didn’t live so far away I would visit these guys weekly for a haircut.Super clean, great customer service and most importantly great barbers!!

Wanna like this place. Asian guy (forgot his name) does a pretty good job, nice bloke.Then there's that blonde eyee with tats, clearly doesn't want to be there, rushes your haircut so he can go have a smoke.I drove up there recently, saw he is working and went home.No idea how he still works there

Worst fade I’ve ever had, I asked for a low fade and was given a high fade which is completely uneven. Mentioned it to the barber and was told it’s the lighting which it definitely wasn’t. The barber had a set of lips on his neck and seemed completely uninterested which showed in his skills. Will never go back and don’t recommend anyone who wants a half decent haircut to go there.

I made an online booking for Wantirna for 4pm. I didn't hear any confirmation so I tried ringing the shop many times. From 1.49pm to 3.11pm I rang 6 times but each time I reached the machine. I even called the Camberwell branch to check the Wantirna one was open.So we turned up at 3.50pm and there was 2 clients before us which was fine. I think it would be hard to time bookings exactly. When the second client was taken I told the barber that we were going to wait outside because my kids wanted to eat and I didn't want to make a mess. So we stood outside the front just directly in the window so it would've been impossible to miss us. We waited and ate there and while that client was having his haircut another 5-7 people entered the shop and sat.After the second client was done I noticed he took another client to the chair. I went in and explained that I told him we were waiting outside and we were next to go but he said he didn't know and now my kids had to go to the back of the line after 4-6 other people. I also had a booking for 4pm and by then it was 4.20pm but he mumbled something about bookings I didn't understand.Anyway, there was no explanation or further discussion and he went back to cutting so we left.It's the same barber who has all the recent negative google reviews. This was my first time to this place and it's certainly not the normal upbeat, noisy barber shop I'm used to.Won't be going back unfortunately unless someone else is working.

Went in for a fade and a trim and got the worst haircut of my life, my hair was cut far too short and high, I will have to give myself a buzz cut just to be comfortable being seen by my family over Christmas.It was also incredibly rushed and my head is sore from where the barber basically jammed the clippers into my scalp. $30 for a poor haircut that took all of 5 minutes is ridiculous.

I've been coming here since the start of the year for beard trims and I've never had a problem. But today I got looked after by Esi and I have to say he was fantastic! Very friendly and attentive to detail. Careful to ask a lot of questions to ensure the best results. Thanks again Esi I will definitely be back!

This is third time we used there service, never had good experience, Barber today felt like he just wanted to go home, even though we entered shop at 5 and closing time is 6 and there was no one at shop, he gave a very quick cut, and has lot of attitude in him, no manners and zero customer service skill.Will never use there service again

Not sure how to rate this one. I rocked up 5 minutes to 10am and the place was locked and no one was available. The gentleman returned from out back (assume he had to go bathroom) at 10:08. Sat in the chair at 10:10 where I had a blended zero fade with a bit off the top.So the haircut was good. Missed a few details but overall did what I asked. However the reason for the the 3 stars was because of how quickly he did the cut. In and out within 7 minutes.It was the way which he wanted me gone because he had other clients that makes me rate lower. Just so quick and didn't show any care really.However the cut was good, but 35 bucks for 7 minutes work just didn't sit well with me.

Nick and Pouya are always extremely friendly every time I come in for a cut. They do a better job than other barber shops for much less money. Overall always a fantastic experience, Gents Cave Barber Wantirna have the most professional and talented team around. Worth every cent. 6/5 stars.
