Easy access, close to the beach, limited sites for caravans. Has a fire pit and drop toilets available. Nice free camp

Nice spot for a few caravans or tents. New drop toilet, but black sand but brushes off easy even when wet. Dogs permitted.

Here are a series of nice and free campgrounds beside the coastline. There is no booking required, and it is totally free, but this point must be kept in mind that all of them get full soon for long weekends and holidays. I've camped here a few times during different times of the year, and every time I spent a pleasant time in these camping areas which are a few minutes away from the beach.

Nice camping spots with toilets. No tap water. Need to bring drink water. Each camp is only 4-5 spots. Camps 1-4 suitable for caravan/motor home. Still have more campsites 6-12 or 18 maybe. I am not going that far. So unsure about it.

One of the many free public camping grounds managed by Parks Victoria along the 90 mile beach. This one has drop toilets, firepits and tables/benches. NO water, power, or bins etc. So you must be fully self sufficient if you are staying overnight. The beautiful beach is a short walk through the dunes. Sheltered from strong winds by a low dune and vegetation all around. It is very close to the road but there is not much traffic so it's quite peaceful. The ground is very sandy and not very flat so you may have trouble with a tent, but a van you can level would be fine. Not really suitable for very large vans as there are quite a few trees and with the extremely soft sand, you may have difficulty turning around, so check it out carefully before entry.
