I engaged Huss and his team to design a coastal property 3 hours north of Sydney. I approved his design quote of $24K. Once we reached the halfway point and I had paid 50%, he decided to add an extra $30K to the quote (without any prior discussions or design changes made to the original project) I asked Huss why he wanted to charge me an extra $30K and he couldn't justify the increase. He left me high and dry and I had to find someone else to take on the project. Unfortunately, the new guys had to redraw everything from scratch as Huss wouldn't give me the working drawings. A very disappointing outcome which blew my project out by 12 months.
