Good restaurant to visit with plenty choices of menu. Huge area and even has a karaoke section for those who love to sing.

This was a spur of the moment decision to go there. The food was so full of flavour and so fresh. One of our group had a birthday and they gave us a birthday dessert. Not to mention the friendliest service ever from the young lady who took our order and brought the meals. Will come back here every time I come to Launceston. 100% best Chinese I have had in 20 years.

Review is more like 1.5 stars. Squirrel fish was lacking depth of flavour. Veggies portion was small for $20+ dollars. If you’re from Syd or Melbs this is nothing special but hits the spot of Chinese cuisine without being too whitewashed

Was an absolutely gorgeous place to dine in. The dishes are fresh and yum, rich in flavour but not too oily and salty. The staff are welcoming and professional. Highly recommended if you into authentic Chinese cuisines and a fancy place.

A fun fact I learned about Launceston is that it is an UNESCO City of Gastronomy, one out of two in Australia. But that certainly doesn't apply to Chinese cuisine because our New Year dinner at Feast Restaurant and Bar was disastrous. Before I elaborate on what went wrong, the restaurant itself fitted right for Chinese celebrations: Spacious and extravagant with numerous Chinese decorations and designs adorning every piece of furniture. That's why I'm bewildered with the kitchen that night because what reluctantly went into our mouths was shoddy, bastardised Chinese food. But our doomed night didn't start off that way with our first plate being a pyramid of shining vegetarian spring rolls. Ignoring the two sprigs of broccoli awkwardly nudged in front, the spring rolls had substantial girth with bundles of cabbage and carrots packed within. Nothing is more satisfying than cracking through a thin, flaky wrap and getting a peppery fibrous mouthful of vegetables than stale mush. Sweet chilli sauce completes the dynamic duo to get the New Year party started. Then the rooster crowed three times, signalling our night's ruin beginning with the chicken. The fried chicken was nothing like the Japanese karaage" it had claimed to be

Definitely not authentic! This is not Szechuan style cuisine at all. When we sat down, the waitress even asked us can you eat spicy?" And she proceeded to explain that they were well known for their "authentic spicy style Szechuan dishes" Guess what? Both dishes we ordered came out nothing close to Szechuan.First dish ordered:Level of spice: 0/10 (which is not authentic at all of Szechuan style cooking)Level of sweetness: 10/10 - EXTREMELY SWEETAuthenticity: 2/10 (Only giving a 2 because ingredients used for the dish was as described)2nd dish ordered:Flavour: BLAND - Tasted like diluted water!!Level of spice: 0/10 (which is not authentic at all of Szechuan style cooking)Authenticity: 2/10 (Ingredients used was as described)And when we asked for cut chillies because we needed to cut through the sweetness and manually make the dishes more edible - the waitress was inflexible about it and said she would have to charge us $2.50 because chillies are expensive. What a joke! Well

Pork Belly was amazing, very nice in flavour. They didn’t have any soup dumplings left which was upsetting but all the food was really good. Service however wasn’t the best, took 15 minutes after we sat before they came, which is fine if they’re busy but a table that got seated after us was helped first. Our drinks came out after all of our food and after we had asked. Came out on the expensive side, would not dine in again but take away i would.
