I went into the junction store the other day to look at a set of fins which I have bought from sideways before and I was greeted by a very rude woman with an accent who then told me that they didn’t have that product, which they did but just not in my size, she was very unprofessional and laughed in my face when I told her I was a body boarder and then told me her life story as I was trying to leave.. Only bought 2 blocks of wax and was there for 20 minutes, when I eventually got a work in I had to interrupt her to exit the store.. never been treated so badly and unfortunately not coming back.

Guys at Sideways helped me replace a fin, putting it in for me and all due to the not-so-perfect fit nature of it being an older style board. Love the discounts that I’ve come to know Sideways for - the prices seemed even lower here than other stores.Highly recommend

Very sour customer service. No smiles, barely look at you never the less speak to you. Very rude staff. One man actually snapped at our kids for playing with/turning the lock on the change room door, while I was trying stuff on. Not politely but quite aggressively. We were also looking for help with the surfboards and no one would assist us. It was a very uncomfortable experience. If you want to shop at sideways just go straight to Kawana. The staff there have always been kind and helpful.

Had such a great experience buying a new surfboard here. Mick, the manager, was so helpful and patient. He genuinely wanted me to find the perfect board, and I feel so good about my purchase.Besides the great service, the surfboards and apparel there are at awesome prices. Cannot recommend this enough!!

Mick and his team are awesome. I have purchased a few things from this store including a new board and accessories. Service was excellent. Old school surf shop staff that will take the time to have a chat. My Sideways Blue 8 ft is a great step up from a short board and I can still duck dive bigger sets.
