The beach at Keast Park is the only year round dog off leash beach in the Frankston council area. There is a 200 metre section of sand for dogs to run and play. There is a basic playground at the park and a walkway through to the beach from the carpark which has paid parking. The reserve is home to the Keast Park Pavilion which houses the Carrum Bowls Club, toilet facilities and Crackerjack Cafe which offers bay and city views.Copied from Melbourne Playgrounds website.

Perfect early Saturday morning with crystal clear waters. My baby had a ball swimming, attempting to make friends with seagulls , staring pensively out at the horizon and finished it all off with a roll around in the sand. Heaps of room to be as social or antisocial as you want.

This is actually a 24/7 off lead dog beach. Many other beaches nearby are advertised as dog beaches with dogs only being allowed on the beach after 7pm…Great beach, friendly locals

Seaford (Keast Park) 24/7 Off leash dog beach
It is the best off leash beaches for dogs in Melbourne from April to October. Doges can play at fine white sand or in the shallow calm water.

Well maintained area, with some construction still ongoing. Bins are available for waste. Paid parking area is well maintained with plenty of space, just a bit expensive at $12.5 for a fixed time of 3 hours (options weren't clear, if there was others). Dogs liked to run around a bit which is always good. There was a sign that the water is not safe at the moment for swimming or dogs to play in however.

Beautiful offleash dog beach in Seaford/Carrum. Plenty of space for parking, BBQ. Beach is clean and tidy and plenty of space for doggos to play. There is a bottleO nearby if need drinks or head down to seaford for good food and gelato. Not many people around here as this is away from all the shops. Highly recommend to all dog owners to visit with their furry friends.

Really nice 24/7 dog beach will lots of room for the dogs to run around. The beach is also nice and clean and the sand is soft. There are also bbq grills nearby. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice, relaxing day at the beach with the family and dog.

Council effort is admirable but beach is pretty bad. People have 0 respect and picnic with small children and food on this little peace of dog beach, successfully preventing dogs from any play. Don't waste your time.

This beach needs to be more easily marked as a dog beach. it is only small at 200m yet today I had to face the wrath of a 25 plus family gathering as they had put up multiple cabanas right in the middle of the area eating a picnic with small children around and telling me to stop my puppy terrorising them by walking through their area and dogs aren’t allowed. It’s the only area available for dogs so please make sure the amenity is available and easily identifiable as such.
