The owner of the business helped me out big time. Not only fixing my bike, but helping me out with my family's bikes... Absolutely recommended by me!! Everyone jump in and see these fellas, they're the best.

Very helpful and patient with all my questions. I was able to try any ebike and Stephen made sure each bike was adjusted to suit me.His advice is knowledgeable and worthwhile

What can I say to do it justice?I was able to test drive multiple bikes.When I finally decided upon one, I bought it, rode it 15kms home and realised it was the wrong size.No problem, I brought it back the next day and changed the bike brand entirely.I could not fault service and honest feedback on the various types of bikes and brands - it can be not very clear.Great service. 7 Star.

I purchased a NCM Venice almost a year ago. When I bought it I had a trailer I wanted to attached to the back axel to carry my kids (both under 5). They installed the hitch and didn't mention any risk in doing this or any affect using the trailer might have on my warranty.Over the next few months the bike started breaking spokes on the rear wheel drive side. I took it back a number of times, they fitted new spokes, told me they'd never seen this problem before. Eventually they told me the spokes weren't covered on warranty by the distributor. If I wanted further repairs I'd have to pay as they don't re-spoke wheels so they'd need to send it to someone else. Also that the spokes are an unusual length so are hard to find.I got rid of the trailer but it kept breaking spokes. I've since taken the bike to another mechanic and had the wheel completely respoked with better quality spokes, problem solved. The bike has been fine otherwise.I take some of the blame for this situation. I should have checked explicitly that connecting the trailer wouldn't affect my warranty.Conclusion: If you plan to buy a bike from NEB and you're unlucky, you might end up needing to take it elsewhere for repairs.

Not willing to help or advise or even consider helping - we didn't buy our e-bike from him. He is only willing to help if you bought your bike from him.The brand of brake pads I was after was Shimano - which has nothing to do with the brand of my e-bike. The person working wouldn't even look at the brake pads.Turns out my brake pads were not even worn, we were shown how to adjust the brakes properly at another bike shop just down the road, and this shop also doesn't sell my brand of e-bike - however he took the time to listen to me, and examined the brake pads and was smart enough to realise what the potential problem was. As a result we bought some spare brake pads for in the future, and have already recommended the other store and, as the rest of the family is now showing interest in purchasing an e-bike, this could be very good for the other shop.A little bit of caring, helpfulness, respect good listening skills goes a long way when in business.

The owner of this shop is very rude and aggressive in his manner. I came to enquire about fixing a bike and he was most unhelpful and suggested I should know what the problem is. He has no customer service skills and I would not go back. I was going to enquire about his bikes but he has lost my business and potentially others also.

Shady dealer, we are looking to purchase and had been warned of this dealer by friends of ours however we thought that we would give them benefit of the doubt.We dealt with an older english salesman that seemed to have no real idea of the product that he was selling, the salesman come across as rude and on top of this he was eating a pie while showing us the products and talking with food in his mouth. My wife left the shop while I continued to ask questions and inspect the bikes on offer. While i was looking the salesman had to answer a call from what appeared to be a unhappy customer with an issue, after over hearing the way he spoke to and about the customer afterwards on top of seeing his operation first hand we decided not to purchase from this store.We have since shared our story of this shop during conversation with others and have met many others who dealt with or knowthis shop/salesperson and there stories all seem familiar.

DISGUSTING DEALER. Ordered an Earth Ant Fat Bike from Newcastle Electric Bikes, explained I wanted it delivered, paid deposit and thankfully it did arrive at Newcastle Electric Bikes, I was advised it had arrived and then says he doesn't do delivery. Drove 400k's return to pick it up, no parking, handwritten receipt and lied about I checked everything" Ended up taking the bike to Deano's Bike's Taree to have it checked out and they said if they had handed over a bike in that condition

Hired 2 bikes to try them out,me and my partner were rapped.Ended up buying 2 bikes. Not long after purchase l had drama with a stripped pedal crank took bike back they replaced the crank even though the part was not in stock, they took the part off a bike in the showroom.More than happy with the service l received, recommend them to anyone .

I have hired an electric bike in the past, about 3 or 4 years ago and I hired another last September. The bikes are well serviced, fast and fun. The prices for the bikes were also very reasonable, would go again, but don't need to because I bought my own electric bike.
