Huskisson Bayside Resort
This was a last minute booking at 4pm on the day. Management was difficult to get a hold of, but the electronic check-in was relatively simple to use. The rooms are getting a bit dated, but they're a good size, clean and comfortable. Great location close to the beach, playground, pub and shops, I'd happily stay here again.

EXTREMELY overpriced. When you book a “resort” you expect to arrive to somewhere nice. Opened room to find a very bad smell in the room. Bathroom had tiles missing, taps made very loud noises during the night/after you used them, TV kept turning on by itself, water damage on desk/counter. Holes in the walls from where old curtains used to be?? Any noise from outside penetrated the walls of the room. Only good thing was the location. Person we spoke to on the phone couldn’t have cared less. Save your money and book somewhere else.

Budget motel within walking distance to shops. Lovely park opposite with walkway to sea baths.Room spacious and new bathroom, tiny kitchenette with microwave. New table and chairs, bed very comfy.Only negative was the wardrobe and especially the bench and mirror was awful and needs replacing urgently.Host very friendly and onsite Japanese restaurant.

Terrible experience, we did not stay the second night.They have not looked after this place. No fly screens, old bad mattresses, cheap uncomfortable lounges. AC that just doesn't keep you cool and is noisy. Power-points scarce (not near beds) and 2 were unsafe.WiFi just didn't workIf motels don't take safety and comfort seriously they shouldn't be in business

The resort is a little old, but it is clean and very comfortable. Close to the village about 250 metres to the coffee shops and restaurants

To say its a resort is just false. The rooms are in need of major improvements, the general state of the units are rough inside and out. I would never recommend this place.The cost was ridiculous for the rooms even staying on xmas eve.

Huskisson Bayside Resort
Have stayed here numerous times. From the cosy room to king balcony. Bed always comfortable, toilet and shower always clean. Yes it may need an aesthetic upgrade, but with that comes a price increase. One of the few places left you can book a one night stay, and better priced if booking direct. Always pleasant to deal with and remember the repeat visitors. Not all of us can afford to buy and visit in the town we have grown to love as kids, where our grandparents lived. We are lucky we can visit and stay where we are always welcomed and treated like locals after 35 years of visits

Beds were reasonably comfortable, but... Plumbing was incredibly noisy. Cockroaches in the room. It's a cheap, poorly presented motel, not a resort at all.

Worst beds I have ever lay on. Cheapest nastiest mattress you can imagine. No padding you can feel the springs pushing through the thin mattress fabric.Zero stars if icould. The whole point of a motel is sleeping at night. Clearly this mob missed the memo and cheaped out on these $100 mattresses. Never again. Go elsewhere if you value a good night's sleep. Extremely Poor.
