Salmon Hole

Salmon Hole is a beautiful place to visit, especially for couples who wants to spend time alone at beach walking on sand, good spot for photography as well, if you have a pet you can play with here as well, need to be careful with water, don't go inside too much, its risky, overall, its a must go place.

Best beach along the Limestone coast. Lots of rock pools to explore and beach water that is crystal clear. Highlight are the sand dunes where the kids spent hours sliding down on their boogie boards. Carpark and road are located about a 50m walk from the water.

This area is amazing and you should definitely plan to stay in and around Beachport for at least a couple of days to see and do everything. Salmon Hole is a quiet spot along this spectacular, but rugged coastline. The sand is not the amazing fine white stuff, it's darker and a little coarser, however it's still lovely for laying on, and this beach is pristine. If you get there early enough, you'll find little footprints in the sand. There's so much things to do besides swimming and fishing. There are rocks at either end that you can explore on, the sand dunes you walk through to get to the beach are filled with flowers and creatures. If you're into beach running, my son loved this spot, as did his dog, off leash and loving the freedom of this remote beach. Wasn't great swimming weather but so worth the visit.

Pretty unique little spot and the kids loved a dip in rare water. It really did help them float due to the high salt content. Worth a look but can sometimes have a slightly off odour but it doesn't linger.

Great spot to fish with a kind and forgiving beach. A short walk from the car park. I feel that it would be a very good learning environment for newbies to learn to surf fish. Fifty small salmon in two days for a bit of fun.

It's a lovely place but beware it is an unwatched beach. Surrounded by rocks so quite safe for dogs. However tides are quite high and has a depth too. Definitely would find a crowd fishing and certainly you catch good number of fishes too.

Wow amazing place to swim and rest up a little... The rock ledge is visible at low tide...From the top of the ridge you can see the crystal clear waters..A must go place to see.

Great little spot. Very scenic. Even when it is windy at Beachport this is well protected for swimming. Nice and shallow to take children swimming as well. Highly recommend.
