The place is really nice, the food is great. Some of the staff definitely need to be a bit more polite, maybe even smile? The window sills and surrounding area of flooring need a good clean ( we went morning so it wasn't from earlier patrons) and spider webs on the top part of some windows should be cleaned as this lets down the quality of the place. Nevertheless, we will be back again as we have in the past simply because the food is good, but would certainly feel more welcome if the staff were a bit more polite and welcoming

Extensive menu with excellent food. We've come many times and almost everything we've ever ordered has been outstanding for the price. Cocktails are the best value you can get in Melbourne (trust us, we know), and the service is lightning fast and always friendly. You'll never leave hungry. Super laid back and family-friendly.

Doesnt look like much from the road. But inside this place is very swish!Nice menu consisting of Italian and some Greek dishes.Monday is parma night and they have close to 20 parmas available!Service from staff was great and good was delicious. Will definitely be back again to try other things!

Group of 6 went out at night for Mother's Day dinner. Upon entering the place was busy and noisy (that was to be expected as it is a popluar night to go out), we struggled to communicate with the waitress to find our table. Once getting to the table, it was sticky and not been wiped down properly. I had to get some hand sanitiser and wipe it down myself. The waitress who took our order was lovely, however should not have been allowed to touch the food nor plates as her hygiene was appalling. She was coughing into to her ha d and then touching the plates to serve to people. I'm just grateful another waiter took my plate out. Unfortunately the night didnt get much better as my meal (the vegetable salad) was average and in my opinion slightly overpriced despite it being a large serving. The parma was quite nice however slightly dry due to being overcooked. Also the vegetarian who asked for the veggie burger had a piece of chicken on the side amongst the chips. Overall the experience was average, food was average and the cleanliness of the place was dreadful. Wouldn't recommend going again during a busy night... however it may be alright during lunch/ breakfast. I would just bring a mask and hand sanitiser also.

Nice place to stop in for all day food! I had the parma which was huge, chips were delicious and well seasoned and nice gravy! The parma could have been a little hotter though (temperature wise). The calamari was delicious!

4.5 STARS!!!Great food and good staff!!!Was with a group of 8+ and drinks came quickly. Food came really quick too.Thought it will be just OK food with the speed that it came *but* I was completely wrong.With the pork snitzel, the mash potatoes was divine, the mushroom sauce paired well with it and the string beans was fresh and crunchy.With the calamari salad, the calamari was was cooked right, it was soft and not at all chewy.With the chicken snitzel, the chicken was moist and cooked just right. The chips was great too.Everyone enjoyed thier meals and left with a full and happy bellies.Suggest to add a side dish of sweet potato fries -- they are crunchy outside and soft inside.Will come back for the dessert!!!-------Edit: Aug-2022Went with a 10+ group and got the seats near kitchen.At one point, we thought we'd smell of food as the aroma of the food from kitchen was a little too strong. We just aired ourselves outside and the aroma was gone from our clothes.The food came quickly even with a large group.Got the snitzel with mushroom sauce and found it a little too salty. Someone had a pizza and also was slightly salty. Everyone else said their meals where good.Staff was, as always, great. They were helpful and attentive.Didn't get a chance to get dessert as we were stuffed :)Will came again!

A late catch up breakfast for Mother’s Day and @thephoenixandco was the perfect place to gather and celebrate.We were offered a booth which is always a great even when you’re adults.The menu is extensive as they are open from morning until late at night.Staff were exceptional, thank you for your politeness, great service and attention to detail. The atmosphere was lovely at that time of day but I can imagine it totally rocks with more people.You can see from the pics that we had arancini balls, a steak burger and mine was chorizo with avocado and halloumi. All beautifully presented and totally delicious.Portion sizes were generous. #thephoenixandco cater for dietaries. There is good parking. Disabled friendly. Takeaway available.This is a great place to dine no matter what time of day. Check it out

Staff here are always great, food is pretty reasonable aswell. This place always pulls people in so they have something nice going on. I must say I have had the Parma a couple of times, I’d like them to make the Parma abit hotter (temperature) wise. That would be great. Thanks

A lovely Cafe, nice decor, nice ambience. Quite spacious, and fairly busy for a Monday lunchtime. Possibly because of their $18 Monday parma special. Which I ordered. It was a huge serving of 2 pieces. Mine selection was the chefs special at $25, which came with a prosciutto, rocket and sundried tomato topping. I had to take about half away as the size defeated me. Prob perfect for a hungry guy. Really attentive helpful staff. A 5 star Cafe experience.

Can get quite noisy when busy (and smokey if you sit near the kitchen) but food is 10/10 and the parma menu is incredible. There's over 20 types and we're going to try them all. Big portions, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.
