I really like Gosford Train Station and it's a massive hub in the region.I've been going through quite a bit lately and I also travel there late at night (when I'm heading back to Sydney).It's a nice big station, visually beautiful, clean and it's very safe. You have police and security everywhere and not that I ever catch the buses; but the bus shelter area this very easy to access and well run.This is more for train buffs (being one myself); I love all the coal trains and survey trains coming through. Totally fascinating and more.Great staff too! They are really helpful when I'm lost / more (from Sydney).

It's great that one can ring Gosford station and get up to date, cogent, travel info, FAST, rather than 131500 ! I've phoned the station twice this week: (women) staff answered promptly and gave good travel info on trackwork this weekend & system interruptions (tree on wires at Turramurra few days ago)

Gosford train station is located within walking distance to most of what Gosford has to offer, shopping centre, kibble Park, Gosford hospital and Gosford waterfront.

To be honest, we regret not getting off at Woy Woy. The lift wasn't working so my pregnant wife and I had to carry the pram up and down the stairs. People seemed friendly, but the station is clearly run down. Good transport hub though - plenty of buses connect here.

Because I'm a city slicker, I've always loved first seeing the old or new blue toung stadium, then the bay on the right,All, G, meaning all Good, or as it could also mean ALL G, all gold..love your township and its people.. xo

Who designs a station where you have to walk up two storeys to then have the privelege of descending two storeys to access the goddam platform? Both should be accessible from the street level on either side. Very NSW.
