I have previously used their service before and last time everything was spot on. I was amazed at how well the windows/doors were cleaned including all the tracks. This time however was a different experience. I initially sent a text end of October to request a booking for January and it was not until early December when I followed up with a second text that I received a response. An appointment was booked in for 13th January around 12pm. At 12:42pm on the day no one had showed up so I sent a text and received a response to say they were falling behind and did not notice the time. They said they were nearly done and could come over after which I replied was fine as I was working from home. Around 3pm I sent another text as no one had come so I suggested rescheduling given the time of day. Shortly after 4pm I received a response that their phone had died and appointment was rescheduled for the 18th January around 10:30am. On the 18th I received a text shortly before 10am advising they had been called to an emergency job and could not make it for 10:30am but 2 people (other than owner) could come around 1:30-2pm. At 2pm I had two people turn up for cleaning. As part of the price I was quoted all glass windows and doors as well as tracks were to be cleaned and it was towards the end of the clean that I noticed the glass behind flyscreens were not being cleaned as they hadn’t removed any of the flyscreens so I brought this to their attention. They struggled to remove the flyscreens and caused some of the clips on the flyscreens to snap off. After they left I inspected all the windows and found that most had smears/marks and the tracks on the outside had not been cleaned. I passed on this feedback to the owner and she was apologetic and offered to come over the next day to touch up the windows and tracks as she didn’t want me to pay until I was happy which I really appreciated. The next day I received a text around 12:30pm to say she was about 30 mins away but then sent another text just before 1pm to say she had forgotten about a meeting which wasn’t going to be long and she would be over shortly after. Hours ticked by and then it was 5pm and by then I figured no one was coming. The following morning at 9:32am I received a text to say sorry they couldn’t get there and had to send someone else and hopefully they did a good job. I replied saying no one came out. I didn’t get a response to this text and I hate the idea of owing people money so I paid the $160 despite not being happy with the clean. That text was sent 5 days ago and I’ve not received a response since. It’s a shame that this experience was not good. I was recommended this business when it was owned by Graham as I have 3 family members who had been his customers and raved about how good he was. My sister even had her windows cleaned a few days after mine and didn’t experience any issues.

Graham was wonderful, but unfortunately he sold the business. He advised us that the new owner would be good as she had some experience and he thought she would be ok.Unfortunately she wasn't up to par. Some windows were not cleaned properly and the kitchen window was missed altogether. Could not remove flyscreens or replace them. We had to finish the job.Still charged full price. She maybe ok on single story homes.

We used Old King Cole a while ago but just hadn't got around to writing a review and are sorry for that. They cleaned our windows inside and out, our shower screens, pool safety glass and pressure cleaned our driveway. The job they did on each was fantastic. They really cared about the job they were doing and we would have no hesitation in recommending them. We will be using them all the time now.

No never got the chance, heaps of emails and texts reminding me of the appointment, never showed up, never called and would not answer my calls. Not happy have real estate people coming tomorrow.
