I had to get some bloodwork done, the staff were friendly and very efficient.I’m scared of pain but the lovely lady taking my blood used a smaller needle and talked to me through the whole procedure which kept my mind of it.Thank you to everyone for making a needed procedure as pleasant and painless as it could be.

More transparency is required when communicating waiting times to patients. If average observed time to service a patient is at minimum 10mins and no mathematical basis is used to answer the “question how long is the wait time” that’s why a communicated time of 40 mins can turn into 2 hrs.

Went to get a blood test 8:30am on a wednesday. I'd never used the ACT health sign in before (different to check in CBR) or been to the building, and the security guard was very kind and helpful with showing me how to use it and where to go. My pathology nurse Angela was super nice and knowlegable, and stepped me through the whole process. Even the receptionist lady who I signed some forms for was very pleasant. As an extremely anxious person, the staff at ACT pathology were wonderful in turning an otherwise difficult event into something actually enjoyable.
