Where to start, after waiting for the owner to appear from the back of house we were greeted by a sullen man who took our order without a smile and seemingly disinterest at our presence. After a 10 minute wait which was fine, a female staff member who had just arrived packed our order and with all the warmth of an iceberg said $57. We paid without any further interaction. The meal was ordinary at best, the fish laying in oil in its wrapper and undercooked, the batter just barely blonde. Overall as a visitor to this town our experience was lack lustre and we were left very underwhelmed by this shop.

We always pop into The Classic when we're in Kerang. The Butterfish, chips and potato cakes etc, were soooo yummy and looked so great I took a photo.

Great hamburger for less than 10 bucks. Really thick juicy generous meat, with fresh salad and toasted bun. Just remember to ask for salt if you like it that way.
