Alex did a fantastic job painting our interior as well as our internal stairs. I can not recommend him highly enough. He went beyond just painting our house . Alex, from Charlestown Painting has completed a couple of jobs for me. Once l had experienced the quality of work on the first job l had no need to look elsewhere.The first job was restoration of ornate ceilings which were in very poor repair: sagging, peeling and stained. Alex has restored them beautifully and six years later they still look as if the restoration took place yesterday.Last year my home needed a facelift. This time the job was restoration of a weatherboard cottage which had suffered many years of neglect with a very poor painting job to hide the deterioration. That poor job failed within a couple of years. So, once again l called on Alex's expertise. It was a huge job but one month later my house was in pristine condition and l know will maintain it's integrity for years to come.You may get lower quotes than Alex's, but the difference he brings to the job is attention to detail, his expertise in restoration and a guaranteed long lasting beautiful result. It is not just a regular paintjob. The extended time before a follow up paint job is required must be factored in as well.If it is restoration you need, and/or you value high quality work, then Alex will be perfect for you.He is a unique specialist in his field.I highly recommend him as an expert craftsman and a very pleasant person to deal with.

Alex is a meticulous painter from start to finish. He is so much more than your standard painter, he takes so much time correcting imperfections before the paint comes out and then more so as they appear coat after coat. He went above and beyond for my family so he could deliver our house to us in time for us to comfortably move in. We can not fault him and his hard working family. He is a true gem!
