RAC WA Batteries

Sven's customer service skills are second to none. He was friendly, kind, gentle and efficient, and did all the tests necessary to diagnose that it was indeed the battery that had failed after 7 years, which is a good innings for a battery. Sven also got his van right in next to the car, which at our house is no mean feat! Overall very impressed with the service. I was thinking that I could save a few dollars by buying my own battery and fitting it myself, but decided to just call the RAC and pay a few dollars more for one of their batteries and the house-call service. The old battery was an RAC battery, and it lasted for 7 years, so I highly recommend the RAC service and their batteries.

Very Poor.Rang RAC and gave them the model of the battery I required. Lady said they would be there within the hour. They rang back an hour later to ask for the dimensions of the battery? Now they had the model of the battery I required and instead of just googling the battery dimensions they got me out in the dark measuring the battery which was the same as on google. Now an hour has already passed and they informed me the service guy was going to go to the depot to get battery to see if they can size it? Another hour at least they said! This is the problem when RAC don't stock brand batteries, only battery's with RAC marked on them! Cancelled them and used another battery service. Had my battery in stock and was here with in the hour. Lost 3hrs work because of rac's inept service.

Spoke with one of my staff about the issue I was having with my car whilst I was calling RAC and then when the mechanic arrived we laughed about how quick the service was and it all happened whilst at work...when we were both younger we would have had to rely on a family member or mate to help out taking all day.

The RAC patrol man arrived within 20min of my call. He was extremely friendly and quickly diagnosed I had a battery that wasn't holding charge. He had the right battery onboard and I was back on the road within 20min of him arriving

RAC resolved my breakdown on a wet and windy day. From the friendly person that took my call to the very happy and professional roadside assistance technician. Service was prompt and efficient.

It was very simple, which now days is a blessing. I rang the RAC Service Depot on Pinjarra Road, Mandurah to book in for a battery check. The one in the car was 5 years old and I kept getting low battery warnings on the console. The young lady I spoke to looked up my membership details, confirmed the home address and type of car we have. She then quoted me a price for a replacement battery and advised that a Roadside Assistance vehicle would be there in approximately 90 minutes. The driver arrived in 93 minutes. Tested the battery, confirmed it below par and asked if I would like the new one installed. A difficult job as he was a big man and the battery is in the back of the car boot, near the spare tyre. All good, tested to make sure the vehicle started, and ran, ok. Swiped my credit card and arrange an electronic receipt. Great service.

Simply, I had a very friendly and competent RAC staffer who replaced my old car battery with a new one.

I love being an RAC member. I had a flat battery. Wasn’t even driving my own car - was driving a truck! but that was not a problem. It said there could be long wait time but they were there within 15 mins. Superb service. I don’t even hesitate now - I trust their expertise and prices so much that I just call as soon as I need them. Best membership in town.

I finished a 10 hour shift on a cold, wet day only to find my battery was dead. I was nearly an hour away from home so rang RAC. It was a busy Friday evening so took me 20 minutes just to get through then I was told up to 2 hours wait time. The patrol guy rang me 20 minutes later having just finished a job nearby, changed my battery, checked my oil and water, asked when my next service was booked for then we parted ways. He was fast and friendly, made the whole experience much better and I was on my way home much earlier than I hoped. Bonus is that the rain stopped just as he got to my car

in the space of a couple hours. i managed to join RAC. order a new car battery and have it installed and my alternator checked. i was very happy with the friendly and speedy service i received. i have and will continue to reccomend to friends and family.
